My brother lived, and died, in La Jolla and I found myself trying to find out what to do from the UK. I was recommended Balboa Cremations by the hospital’s department of decedent affairs and I am so glad I acted on that. Jennifer has been absolutely wonderful in helping me through the whole process and made it a lot easier than I feared. Because my brother had family and friends in 2 countries we decided to have his ashes put into 2 containers so that I could bring one back to England. It was really straightforward and Jennifer was happy to facilitate this. I can unreservedly recommend Balboa Cremations for their compassion and efficiency at such a difficult time.

They were fantastic. Very professional, quick to respond, handled things efficiently and emailed me along the whole process from pick up to certificates, billing, and final pickup. They never tried to upsell me, and the cost was in line. I highly recommend Balboa Cremation services.

Having already been through managing a cremation 10 years (at a far more expensive business), I was familiar with the process and all I needed this time was a no-frills, low-cost cremation. Balboa did a excellent, professional job and was able to answer any questions I had.
