Doc's Computer Solutions
“The owner was extremely kind straight forward, and easy to talk to.
I spoke to him on the phone about what I thought was a swollen battery on my Lenovo laptop, because screws were coming out by the screen hinge. He corrected me almost right away that it couldn't be the battery because it's located under the track pad and might just be wear and regular loosening and to take it in.
Other companies didn't even ask about many details, they just asked for models and started quoting (one asked $250 to replace a battery that is screwed and plugged into the machine)
I took the laptop in and he offered to screw it back for free, and also offered to open it just to check. It turns out the last people to correct my laptop forgot to reattach basically every screw in the computer and he took 20 minutes to find the correct screw sizes and attach everything correctly, then close and finally screw the case shut.
I offered multiple times to pay and he said there was no need to pay for screws.
Anyways, he has been working in computer repair for over a decade and clearly knows what he's doing, and is also clearly honest, hard working, and straight forward.
If I ever need anything repaired on my laptop again, I am only coming here.”
