“I am 71 and have not ridden for 5 years and then it was on a 6 day mule ride in Yosemite. I wanted to acquaint myself on how to ride a horse western style to prepare for a 9 day trail ride in the high country of the Rockies. I took three lessons from Karen over two weeks. She is extremely aware of horse behavior and how they react to pressure from the rider. She educated me on the safety of the bridle and saddle, posture on the horse, the stages of the horse speed, their vision and thought process, and the difference between English and Western riding. The most important things I gained from the three lessons were: alignment from my head to my feet while on the horse, the shift of body weight and pressure to guide and to control the gate of the horse, and that what I focus on is transferred to the horse. Karen, the owner/instructor, allowed me to practice what she told me and gave positive reinforcement and detailed explanations when I could not make the horse do what I wanted. “Skylar and her team are MAGNIFICENT! Skylar is truly gifted and so organized, I cannot recommend her enough. There are truly no words for the way in which they helped our anxious cane corso, pit, Neapolitan mastiff pup come into her own with confidence and to help us provide the leadership she needed to relax into her amazing doggo self. The balanced training curriculum came to us after struggling for her first two years of training/methods that although work for other dogs (and even her until certain development stages), were not working for our dog or us. She'd done puppy prep which was great, but we did a 3 week board and train that had zero results. The positive reinforcement trainer told us our dog was "dense." But we knew she just needed the right teacher. When we found Skylar it was at a point when we feared we'd have to leave our apartment building due to our dog's reactions to other dogs and even some humans in the building that although she would never actually harm, due to her size, she was not received well by others and worried us. We knew we just needed someone who could translate her needs to us as a dog with multiple guard dog breeds and Skylar did just that. Her curriculum, her trainings for us, the learning classroom, videos, reintegration to our home has been 100 stars!!! We can prepare and eat dinner, have guests over, enjoy our days without demand barking. My wife was unable to walk our 95lb dog due to random lunging. Our dog literally ran our life and is now just sharing our life! We are also now connected to her network of trainers for dog sitting etc, that can also serve as a refresher. We always knew we truly had the best dog, but now we are providing the best environment for our dog to succeed! All thanks to Skylar! She is truly brilliant in her both design and business practice! “The Midtown Mutts team walked and took care of our dear dog for almost the past two years until we had to say goodbye. Even as he aged and his needs were more complex, the dog walkers were always patient and caring (pro-tip: sign up your senior dog for at least the 30 minute walk so neither the dog walker nor your dog feel rushed). “Don has been amazing to work with. We have two dogs a 4 year old French bull dog and a 2 year old Boston / French mix. Both dogs have been through basic petco training and know sits and stays only when treats were used. After having a new baby in the house we needed someone who could help us learn methods to teach the dogs obedience and behavioral training for our everyday life. Before don, our French bull dog was refusing to walk out past the garage , I would have to drag him down the street. Walks were getting miserable. My Boston would constantly be running and jumping on guests as well as the French bull dog sitting on guests and needing all do the attention. my husband and I would usually be distracted hosting, as we'd be running back and forth to try and get them to calm down. . Since our training with don we have been able to take them on vacation and have people over (even children) with the dogs staying calm and manageable. Our French bull dog started walking again (it had been 1.5 years since I could get him to go on walks normally!!) I was amazed at how calm and obedient they have become, as well as the skill set my husband and I have learned to train them. I want to say it's literally been a miracle, as they were getting unmanageable as our lives were starting to get busier. They have been awesome at sitting calmly and staying when guests come over as well as when my husband and I want calm time in the evenings or are feeding the baby . Walks are amazing now, they both actually walk and keep going with us without stopping or dragging them- or them pulling us! (Amazing) . The only regret I have is not hiring don sooner, and saving my money on all the rewards (treats) based training.“

“If you’re looking for a professional, caring and super knowledge trainer Unleash the Beast is the best! We had a super energetic toy poodle, 4 months old with no concept of commands. We also did not want to use treats so we signed up to the board and train and could not be happier with the results. I got pictures of our pup every day for 5 weeks, FaceTimes and also at home visits and training sessions to help us sustain the behaviour. “I booked some private sessions here and have been really pleased. The entire staff is so helpful and friendly. They are organized, professional, and knowledgeable. One of the best things is that I found Tracy, the fear free certified groomer there. I cannot say enough great things about her! She has been able to trim my dog's toenails every time when even the vet and techs could not. She is wonderful with him. I recently went on a private session park walk with Uni and she really helped a lot. I would definitely recommend All Stage for any training or grooming needs!“

Sometimes our lab isn’t (but that’s her issues, not because they do not try).I know they have had some bad word of mouth, but please be open to the fact that there are always 3 sides to everything! Each individual parties experience and what actually happened!Please don’t try to shutdown a small business that provides excellent care for many of our fur babies!“
