“I had to have a core needle biopsy. Thank goodness I was directed to the imaging center at John Muir in Walnut Creek I was impressed with the concern and care I received from the time I arrived at the center. Of course I am 80 and everyone looks young to me, but these technicians and doctors are fully prepared to handle the scary part of having a breast biopsy for cancer. Joann was my technician and in my estimation, they do not come any better Not only is she extremely competent and professional, but her sincere care and awareness of my emotions, was refreshing. She continually reassured me everything will be fine and that Dr. Chen was really really good in doing the biopsy. I didn't have any discomfort and things moved along very quickly. So glad other women will have the opportunity to have such a wonderful experience in such an emotional and scary situation . Thank you team, I'm grateful for your care.“

“The John Muir Women's Health Center is very nice and easy to find. Parking options are plentiful: street if you're lucky or the public garage across the street. We attended a Newborn Care class (which was packed) as we needed to learn how to care for our son when he comes home. Reception was warm and we were greeted with a smile. We were directed to our class, as well as, made aware of the bathroom location and drinking fountain - customer service at its best! The center also has a store for essentials; however, I didn't have time to shop. The center offers tons of classes and support for women and moms. I will definitely be going back once my little one can come home.“
“Today was my first visit with Dr. Morando at Pleasant Hill location. Before I was a patient of Dr. Stephen Weinstein, who recently retired. Therefore I was referred to that office to continue my care. I was hard to get an appointment due to volume of patience, and I was considering finding new OBGYN. I am very glad that I was patient and waited to see Dr. Morando. She is very personable, caring, professional and have an excellent bed side manners. I felt comfortable with her right away, which is not easy considering type of care she is providing! Office was clean and tidy. Wait time was no more than 10 minutes. Her medical staff was also friendly and caring!“

They take care of every patient like they are their own family members. They spend so much time explaining the procedure, following up and keeping the family informed during the entire process. Having heart issues run in my family, I can't even say how at ease I am to have such a great cardiac surgeon group minutes away. I would never let my family go anywhere else! “I spent an hour or two per week at Center for Sports Medicine for the last 3 months and received fantastic treatment. My PT Ernie dialed in some exercises that had me recover from a cartilage injury in my knee, so much so that I didn't end up needing surgery. He gave me at-home work to do as well that furthered my recovery. I have been able to return to running pain free which seemed a total longshot before I started. Ernie is knowledgeable and effective, and super personable as well. I have no hesitation recommending Ernie and CFSM for sports injury recovery.“
