Oh, and don't cuss, threaten or try any BS - they will not put up with it and you will find yourself without this clinic as an option. Very professional folks, clean and well-lit operation (somewhat of a rarity with places that take MediCal). Dr. Rosenfield is very good, caring professional who is sincere and honest. My only complaint, and hence the 4 stars, is that he has some difficulty with negative confrontation - it would have been nice to know that he doesn't deal with disability patients/claims months prior. So, as long as that isn't an issue, the service is top-notch and the people were very real and authentic.“

2339 Durant Ave, Berkeley“The Berkeley Free Clinic is an American treasure. I have been going to dentist there for a long time. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, and the service is professional. I am truly grateful that BFC has stayed open all these many years to serve low income people in need. And it really is free, but I always make a donation to help keep them afloat!“

She didn't give up and was determined to get me my appointment because I was there waiting!!! Amazing staff! The radiologist was outstanding! I think her name was Cheryl. Best experience ever. Elena CARES about her patients and there health! And the procedure was easy and painless. 10 stars ⭐️ amazing.“
“I absolutely love my personal physician Dr. Shaw and have followed her from Pinole to Richmond to Berkeley. She is kind and professional and knowledgeable. Also, the rest of the staff I encountered were all great, from the friendly check-in lady that I waved with every time I passed her desk to Dr, Shaw's nurse with the appropriate last name of Healing to Audrey in blood draw. I joined Kaiser in 1969 when I became a school psychologist in Richmond schools and will never leave.“
