“Since I got married in 2023 I’ve wanted a Chinese photo shoot with my husband to honor my heritage while also celebrating us as a couple. Lizi studio was the best possible place for me to fulfill this wish! We spent a whole day with Liz and she did my makeup, hair (amazing skills!) and helped us with our outfits. We did two types of photo shoots in one day, the Old Shanghai style and traditional hanfu. Liz had great direction with the photos and helped us look our best. I also appreciated that she edited two extra pictures for free to include in our final package. I would definitely come back for family pictures when we have kids.“

“My first visit, I was very nervous what to expect. You just go right into Ulta where the benefit counter is, and let them know you have an appointment. The techs there are highly knowledgeable about all things brows; the person I went to trained on facial mapping and was telling me all about it during the appointment. I appreciate that level of expertise in brows; mine are thick but highly arched, and I don't want them waxed within an inch of their life, nor do I want a shape that doesn't fit my face or natural growth area. I thought it was reasonably priced, and was happy with my result enough that I went back regularly.“

Trisha is experienced, knowledgeable skillful ,professional and very patient, i appreciate those points because getting permanent eyebrows tattooed on part of my face is a big deal. I booked the appointment for micro blading session. With Trisha expertise and experience and guidance I realize Micro blading is not the ideal service for my oily skin type, she gave me a few other options, so i go with powdered ombre brows style. I also really appreciate her attention to detail in regarding to aging eyebrows. Trisha lifted my eyebrows line up a little bit be she tattoo me ( this will help my tattoo eyebrows age gracefully. “I was looking for someone who specializes in working with Asian features and hair, and I was starting to lose hope when my friend came across Google and saw Grace Lin listed as one of the top makeup artists in California. Luckily, there’s one in Pasadena!I booked my engagement shoot last minute, and Grace was so kind to accommodate me. She and her team even did a video call to study my features before the actual session.

My makeup artist May, did an absolutely fantastic job, and I ended up booking her the same day for my wedding! I don’t usually wear makeup, so I trusted her completely and to my surprise, my makeup looked amazing while I still felt like myself.For my hair, I just showed her a picture of what I wanted, and she recreated it perfectly.

“The owners Martin and Eddie are the most down to earth people you'll find. HIGHLY reccomend them. Make an appointment because they're a busy spot, I don't reccomend walk in, especially not on weekends. I get my haircut from Martin but everyone there is great at what they do.“
