I am so glad I chose Colma Cremation and Funeral Services. The prices were reasonable, and the service from Hiroko and Reuben was extraordinary. Hiroko's kind messages were so lovely and reassuring during a difficult time. I appreciated the always daily messages to keep me updated. Choose Colma, you will be so pleased you did. All arrangements for my veteran brother were handled professionally and appropriately. Thank you Hiroko and Reuben!“

540 F St, Colma“Highly recommend the staff at the Italian cemetery. GM Steve Chiappari was awesome with helping us with our options for my mom. Everyone was so kind and I would like to thank them again. The cemetery itself is very well kept and beautiful. We have multiple family members that have chosen the Italian cemetery as their final resting place. Thank you, Italian Cemetery.“

2 Park Rd, Burlingame“I highly recommend Cypress Lawn Funeral home! We used their services for the passing of a very dear family member and we approached them while still in tears. They were so professional and respectful, comforting in being task oriented but careful not to rush us in our decisions. We chose some options but even so, when they told me they would take care of everything and I didn't quite realize until closer to the time just how many things I never would have thought of to request and I found out they already had it planned! They were carefule to make no assumptions that might make us uncomfortable, using inclusive language, and using excellent/professional communication skills. At a time when one doesn't even realize how emotional one is on any particular day, they are calm and can see through the chaos, organzing things quietly for you and allowing you to be in charge if you want to be. They were patient through the process and allowed me to take my time in making decisions, constantly offering to help. It's amazing how specific the options they provide can be and still how customizable/personalizable their services are. They have a special flower room accessible to flower shops for delivery after hours. They handled all of the legal things with no effort from us; they just know how to do it all. They were present during the services and at my elbow if needed but in the shadows if not needed. They have a high professional skill level in making your pictures into a beautiful slideshow. For the same cost there is a reception room. I can say that because of the size of our family and the multi-pronged cultures that we embody, we needed the flexibility they give and we turned the facility into quite a unique event in honor of our loved one who passed, bringing in our own multi-pronged cultures including four generations, assisting in guiding those with accessibility issues, and tolerating lively children, and we were surprised how the facility served well in the face of all of this! I highly recommend them for any sort of handling of your loved one's passing.“

CA-35 at Highway 92, San Mateo“100% recommend this place this place is so beautiful alot of trees you could see the ocean and alot of wild animals but overall its clean and organized. Working with Nena Ortiz I know that God had sent her to work with my family, she explained every concern. She took time to talk to us even when she wasn't in the office working. Also if you need someone that speaks Spanish she's the one to go for.“

1300 Sneath Ln, San Bruno“On this coming 4th of July, I reflect on how much has been lost and gained in the United States, and so I sit and reflect at the places that mean so much to me.
Coming from a military family, I hope the lessons learned make us pause and think.
So here we stand, my wife and I in the middle of the golden gate national cemetery.
Here we visit, and we ponder the course of this nation. We visit what I call the "brass ridge". Here there are so many generals and admirals buried here, but not forgotten. As we walk through the greens and we stop at the tombstones of prominent and historical figures, I hear in the wind honor me, but remember the soldiers, sailors, Marines, Air force veterans that surround me and served this nation also. These were our men under our command.
Like Gettysburg, Manassas, Shiloh, the Alamo, Arlington and the national cemetery of the Pacific that I have visited. I remember with awe and wonder.
Another solemn place to visit. Moving to the soul and conscience.“

194 Millwood Dr, Millbrae“Chapel of the Highlands provided a thoughtful and well-organized service for my late grandmother. Communication was always clear, and their team ensured her wishes were honored with respect. I also appreciated their willingness to address concerns and make things right, which reflected genuine care for the families they serve. Paul and his team handled everything smoothly, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others in the future.“

1801 Hillside Blvd, Colma“I called today to get information on a loved one that we believed to be buried here. I felt very nervous and awkward on the call, I'm sure I sounded like a complete nut, anxiety at it's finest. However, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite and reassuring. She answered all my questions and put me at ease right away. She gave me help and suggestions right away. I ended the phone call with a happy heart and a calm feeling.“

1300 Hillside Blvd, Colma“This Cemetery is located in San Mateo. It is a Japanese Cemetery consisting of some of the japanese population in the bay area. The cemetery opened in 1901 due to a law change in the area. Most of the cemetery is dedicated to newer burials, however, there is an older section of the cemetery that is mainly older, historical headstones. My great-grandaunt is buried here and I went to visit this cemetery in early February. It is a very beautiful and small cemetery in the heart of Colma!“

2099, 2019 Hillside Blvd, Colma“We had my mom's funeral services here in 2023. I as well as my guests were very impressed with the quality of the funeral service. They even provided snacks and drinks for our guests while they were waiting for the service to begin. All of the funeral staff members that assisted with the service were attentive to our needs. We chose the full package which was well worth the price for how well the service was executed. My guests said it was unlike any funeral they've attended. Thank you Golden Hill Funeral Home.“
9AM - 5PM
5187 3rd St #2355, San Francisco“I am so grateful to this funeral home for the care and compassion they showed during such a difficult time. They guided me through the process with kindness and patience, making sure every detail was handled smoothly. The chapel was beautiful yet simple—exactly what we needed to honor my boyfriend in a meaningful way. The viewing and cremation were carried out with respect and dignity, and I never once felt rushed or overlooked. Their professionalism and empathy made a heartbreaking experience a little more bearable, and I truly appreciate everything they did for us.“
9AM - 4:30PM
1100 El Camino Real, Colma“Just placed my 91-year old mother in her space yesterday, 8/19/21, and our family was very happy with the service we received here. The grounds crew showed us a lot of compassion and performed the lowering of my Mom's casket with great care. They made good eye contact with us and treated us with great respect. As a recent retiree of both the cemetery and funeral home business, I always say that the cemetery grounds crew are typically the most caring of the employees.I had purchased my family's six double-depth spaces back in 1/12/1980and, as with home prices, cemetery prices have really gone up! Luckily, I made the right decision over 41-years ago to get these spaces. My mother is the first to use one of our spaces. This is a nice cemetery. There are some in the area that may have greener grass and there are some with lesser green grass. However the service (both in the office and on the grounds) is comparable, if not better, with the so-called higher end locations. I am happy with Greenlawn.“
9AM - 5PM
4650 Callan Blvd, Daly City“Can't say much about their services. But I will say it's a nice place to eat lunch and the views from the top of the hill is very scenic. On some weekends, you can hear fireworks going off in celebration. They have bathrooms and benches for guests.“

1174 El Camino Real, Colma“A little over a year ago I reached out to Art in Stone with a very sad request... to create a head stone for my amazing late husband. It's an incredibly tough project, as many I am sure would agree, to create the very last thing for your loved one.... I was completely lost... I had no idea where to start, what to say, how to express my feelings of this immeasurable loss, sadness, grief but also to share the love of life my husband possessed??? How do you do that? How? Where does it start and do you end??? All of these, in my head , and I was completely lost ...until I met Michael! He is a saint, really. Professional, smart, kind, creative, sensitive with an amazing sense of of people's needs and wants. He has truly created the most unique and beautiful combination of my husband's past, our life together, our dreams for the future... all in one incredibly beautiful piece... Definitely recommend reaching out to the Art in Stone and asking for Michael and if he's available- you will be in the BEST hands“

1465 Valencia St, San Francisco“The warmth and professionalism Driscoll's staff has given me and my family has made one of the hardest times in our lives very easy. Thank you for the kindness and grace you give to the grieving families“
8:30AM - 5PM
1601 Hillside Blvd, Colma“I have family who are buried here: Grandparents and a great-aunt and great-uncle. I can't speak to the funeral home workers, and that's just because three of my family members passed away before I was born and I never had to talk to the workers about funeral arrangements. It is a nice and peaceful place to spend time thinking about and remembering your loved ones, but my biggest gripe is with people who apparently walk their dogs here. Every time I come here, I notice there is a ton of dog crap everywhere. All I ask for is that you have a bit of respect for where you take your dogs. This is a cemetery. We just want to come and see our loved ones who are no longer with us without having to sidestep your dog's crap. Since you don't have the common sense to not bring your dogs here, at least have the decency to clean up after them.“

“Armando helped my son immediately with the funeral services. My son wanted a beachfront view driving away from Chapel By the Sea to drive to the burial site. My son's vision came true as expected. Not only was it angelic but Armando let us put our own decorations whatever we needed done Armando said yes to it. Armando was quick, efficient and at the same time consoling. Chapel by the Sea is a place where you can have an intimate, special and have a professional experience for your loss loved ones to view and have services just the way you want it done. Thank you Armando. Patricia Corsetti“
