15 N Ellsworth Ave Suite 201, San Mateo“I was able to get my end of life plans underway with Cemetery Property resales. I was able to save quite a bit of money for their service. I received a lot of knowledge through the representative concerning this industry. It helped me make sound decisions. No pressure sales. It took me a minute to get the finances together due to putting this on the back burner. All in all, it was a good experience.“

No one wants to have to use their services, yet they're there when you need them with kindness and professionalism. Noel was very helpful.“

540 F St, Colma“All of the advice was comforting. The details went exactly perfect. Then the final burial event was also perfect. The family was pleased and very supported by all of the staff. The workers were very very respectful and efficient in the closure, and the final final words of the wonderful priest were so thoughtful. It was an excellent experience.“

2 Park Rd, Burlingame“I highly recommend Cypress Lawn Funeral home! We used their services for the passing of a very dear family member and we approached them while still in tears. They were so professional and respectful, comforting in being task oriented but careful not to rush us in our decisions. We chose some options but even so, when they told me they would take care of everything and I didn't quite realize until closer to the time just how many things I never would have thought of to request and I found out they already had it planned! They were carefule to make no assumptions that might make us uncomfortable, using inclusive language, and using excellent/professional communication skills. At a time when one doesn't even realize how emotional one is on any particular day, they are calm and can see through the chaos, organzing things quietly for you and allowing you to be in charge if you want to be. They were patient through the process and allowed me to take my time in making decisions, constantly offering to help. It's amazing how specific the options they provide can be and still how customizable/personalizable their services are. They have a special flower room accessible to flower shops for delivery after hours. They handled all of the legal things with no effort from us; they just know how to do it all. They were present during the services and at my elbow if needed but in the shadows if not needed. They have a high professional skill level in making your pictures into a beautiful slideshow. For the same cost there is a reception room. I can say that because of the size of our family and the multi-pronged cultures that we embody, we needed the flexibility they give and we turned the facility into quite a unique event in honor of our loved one who passed, bringing in our own multi-pronged cultures including four generations, assisting in guiding those with accessibility issues, and tolerating lively children, and we were surprised how the facility served well in the face of all of this! I highly recommend them for any sort of handling of your loved one's passing.“

7778 El Camino Real, Colma“My family and I highly recommend Bocci Designs. Pierre was incredibly easy to work with and made the entire process feel seamless during such a difficult time. He was so collaborative, made thoughtful recommendations on different designs, and went above and beyond by creating a beautiful custom Versace-inspired design for my father’s headstone. The final result was absolutely perfect! His wife was also an absolute delight to work with, as she helped us pick out the perfect stone for the headstone. Their kindness, patience, and attention to detail truly made this emotional process so much easier for our family. Thank you so much, Pierre and team!“

1500 Mission Rd, Colma“Staff extremely kind and helpful. I would recommend their services to anyone who has lost a loved one because they gently and carefully went through each step and made the extremely painful and taxing experience not only manageable but surprising easily process. I truly don't know how we could have navigate this painful experience without the help of staff. The day of the funeral was seamless and surprising peaceful thanks to all their professionals and help. Can't recommend enough to anyone looking to lay a loved one to rest!“

African campaign and imprisoned in California and Idaho, victims of the Port Chicago explosion, and a number of medal of honor recipients (Reinhardt Keppler WW2, served the USS San Francisco).“

841 Menlo Ave, Menlo Park“Losing a loved one is never easy, and during one of the most difficult moments of our lives—losing a close friend—Menlo Park Funeral Home and Cremation Services exceeded every expectation. From the moment we reached out, Barry showed a level of empathy, professionalism, and dedication that truly sets this funeral home apart.
What made this experience truly remarkable was Barry’s unwavering support throughout the entire process of arranging our friend’s body shipment to Europe. This included navigating international paperwork, handling insurance, and working directly with the European consulate—all while keeping us informed every step of the way.
Grieving makes even basic tasks feel impossible, but Barry made sure every document was in order, every signature collected on time, and every communication handled with care. He was a light in the darkness, helping us move forward when things felt too overwhelming.
If you're looking for a funeral home in Menlo Park that combines expertise with genuine human kindness, I cannot recommend Barry and his team enough. Whether you need local cremation services, funeral arrangements, or international repatriation of remains, this is the place to turn to.
As painful as loss is, Barry made sure we never felt alone.“

1801 Hillside Blvd, Colma“I called today to get information on a loved one that we believed to be buried here. I felt very nervous and awkward on the call, I'm sure I sounded like a complete nut, anxiety at it's finest. However, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite and reassuring. She answered all my questions and put me at ease right away. She gave me help and suggestions right away. I ended the phone call with a happy heart and a calm feeling.“

1300 Hillside Blvd, Colma“This Cemetery is located in San Mateo. It is a Japanese Cemetery consisting of some of the japanese population in the bay area. The cemetery opened in 1901 due to a law change in the area. Most of the cemetery is dedicated to newer burials, however, there is an older section of the cemetery that is mainly older, historical headstones. My great-grandaunt is buried here and I went to visit this cemetery in early February. It is a very beautiful and small cemetery in the heart of Colma!“

2099, 2019 Hillside Blvd, Colma“We had my mom's funeral services here in 2023. I as well as my guests were very impressed with the quality of the funeral service. They even provided snacks and drinks for our guests while they were waiting for the service to begin. All of the funeral staff members that assisted with the service were attentive to our needs. We chose the full package which was well worth the price for how well the service was executed. My guests said it was unlike any funeral they've attended. Thank you Golden Hill Funeral Home.“
9AM - 4:30PM
1100 El Camino Real, Colma“Just placed my 91-year old mother in her space yesterday, 8/19/21, and our family was very happy with the service we received here. The grounds crew showed us a lot of compassion and performed the lowering of my Mom's casket with great care. They made good eye contact with us and treated us with great respect. As a recent retiree of both the cemetery and funeral home business, I always say that the cemetery grounds crew are typically the most caring of the employees.I had purchased my family's six double-depth spaces back in 1/12/1980and, as with home prices, cemetery prices have really gone up! Luckily, I made the right decision over 41-years ago to get these spaces. My mother is the first to use one of our spaces. This is a nice cemetery. There are some in the area that may have greener grass and there are some with lesser green grass. However the service (both in the office and on the grounds) is comparable, if not better, with the so-called higher end locations. I am happy with Greenlawn.“

1174 El Camino Real, Colma“A little over a year ago I reached out to Art in Stone with a very sad request... to create a head stone for my amazing late husband. It's an incredibly tough project, as many I am sure would agree, to create the very last thing for your loved one.... I was completely lost... I had no idea where to start, what to say, how to express my feelings of this immeasurable loss, sadness, grief but also to share the love of life my husband possessed??? How do you do that? How? Where does it start and do you end??? All of these, in my head , and I was completely lost ...until I met Michael! He is a saint, really. Professional, smart, kind, creative, sensitive with an amazing sense of of people's needs and wants. He has truly created the most unique and beautiful combination of my husband's past, our life together, our dreams for the future... all in one incredibly beautiful piece... Definitely recommend reaching out to the Art in Stone and asking for Michael and if he's available- you will be in the BEST hands“
8:30AM - 5PM
1601 Hillside Blvd, Colma“I have family who are buried here: Grandparents and a great-aunt and great-uncle. I can't speak to the funeral home workers, and that's just because three of my family members passed away before I was born and I never had to talk to the workers about funeral arrangements. It is a nice and peaceful place to spend time thinking about and remembering your loved ones, but my biggest gripe is with people who apparently walk their dogs here. Every time I come here, I notice there is a ton of dog crap everywhere. All I ask for is that you have a bit of respect for where you take your dogs. This is a cemetery. We just want to come and see our loved ones who are no longer with us without having to sidestep your dog's crap. Since you don't have the common sense to not bring your dogs here, at least have the decency to clean up after them.“

“No words can describe our deep loss when our Mama passed. She was well loved & Sneider & Sullivan continued to make us feel that she was so special. They took care of her &, us, her family, from the beginning until even after the cremation. On behalf of the Relloma family: Evelyn & Gie, Miriam, Arlene, Romel, Belle & Justin and last but not the least, Joel, Jennie, Janelle & Julienne Annika A huge thanks to Gus Roldan, Johanna, Philip, Jack & Richard & everyone else in this mortuary who made us feel like we were not alone in this time of difficulty. They allowed us to express our grief in our own cultural way. Again, you were all deeply appreciated.“
