“I checked out few monument shops for a headstone for my dad. I came across with Henry Deng at Golden Hill. Henry is super friendly and easy to work with. Henry patiently explained to me all the options on the headstone, the base, vases and plate; and he offered the best price compared to other shops. I asked to install it after 2023 Chinese new year. Henry has been communicating with me since I put in my order in September 2022. When I paid visit to my dad's, the headstone is very well made, and beautiful.“

“Wow! I'm so glad I found this location. Everyone here is so professional and I love that they're a small business because they really took the time to walk me through everything for my moms funeral. For them being a small business, I'm so shocked to see how much options they have and they're price points are very competitive. The parking lot is big and the chapel is well kept. I highly recommend them if ur looking for something more intimate with more privacy with your family.“

“Pierre at Bocci demonstrated unparalleled professionalism and empathy, guiding my family and I through the design options and ensuring that every detail honored the memory of my beloved father. He patiently listened to our ideas and preferences, offering valuable insights and suggestions along the way. During this heartbreaking time it was very important that we were heard with our insight on what we wanted to get done. Pierre did just that and we are very grateful. Thank you Pierre at Bocci.“

“Barry, Lauren & the team at Menlo Park Funeral Home helped my husband and me navigate through the toughest journey of our life after a few days of life from the Stanford NICU for one of our sons. From the initial phone call to the service, we were met with high touch care, generosity and compassion. All of these elements were essential in making the process so much smoother and special in an already uneasy time of life.I highly recommend Menlo Park for any families needs in honoring their loved one.“

“We laid to rest my mother in law and my husband's mom and children's grandmother. It was so sad but this Japanese Cemetery is so lovely and well kept. Many of my husband's relatives are here and on some of the sculptures are the names of the living who will go there when they pass. After placing her ashes in the little house, we walked the pristine grounds. No one was there but there was a sense of peace and calm. It is such a well-maintained place. Beautiful yet humble.“

“My experience with Paul Larson at the Chapel of the Highlands was as good as it could be during this sad time. I had no idea what to do when a loved one passes, and Paul Larson at The Chapel of the Highlands explained the whole process to me and made it as easy as possible. During this most difficult time Paul was there to help me every step of the way. I called him when my uncle was in hospice, and he told me that when my uncle passes to call immediately, and they would come and remove his remains. He then arranged everything needed for a wonderful service. He contacted the Veterans Administration to arrange a military service, he made the arrangements with the cemetery and the florist so that everything went smoothly at the service, and since my uncle was not religious and had no pastor, he performed a wonderful eulogy at the service. I highly recommend the services of Paul and the Chapel of the Highlands!“

“Just placed my 91-year old mother in her space yesterday, 8/19/21, and our family was very happy with the service we received here. The grounds crew showed us a lot of compassion and performed the lowering of my Mom's casket with great care. They made good eye contact with us and treated us with great respect. As a recent retiree of both the cemetery and funeral home business, I always say that the cemetery grounds crew are typically the most caring of the employees.I had purchased my family's six double-depth spaces back in 1/12/1980and, as with home prices, cemetery prices have really gone up! Luckily, I made the right decision over 41-years ago to get these spaces. My mother is the first to use one of our spaces. This is a nice cemetery. There are some in the area that may have greener grass and there are some with lesser green grass. However the service (both in the office and on the grounds) is comparable, if not better, with the so-called higher end locations. I am happy with Greenlawn.“

“Chinese Christian Cemetery (CCC) is one of four cemeteries located on a hillside in Daly City, very close to Colma. CCC is located between Tung Sen Cemetery and the Russian Sectarian Cemetery. The two acres of land was purchased in 1898 for $1000. I have been visiting this place all my life. It's not a very well maintained cemetery. Mostly it's uneven bare ground, sometimes hard to walk on. Some of the headstones date back to the mid-1800's, some markers are unreadable. My parents are buried here. It's a quiet and peaceful place. Yes, it could use some benches, paved walkways and water faucets that worked. But all that matters to me is.....it's a peaceful place. God Bless“

“I called today to get information on a loved one that we believed to be buried here. I felt very nervous and awkward on the call, I'm sure I sounded like a complete nut, anxiety at it's finest. However, the woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite and reassuring. She answered all my questions and put me at ease right away. She gave me help and suggestions right away. I ended the phone call with a happy heart and a calm feeling.“

“I am there almost once or twice a week, honestly some part of the cemetery are okay and most area of the cemetery are dirt road with a little or no grass at all. So if and when it's windy, dirt travels. Besides the police training next door, at times it could be noisy hearing them during target practices but not always. I still like to spend my days here for it's quietness. At times I fell like bringing a portable chair and spend most of the day with love one , considering the weather is beautiful at times.“

“The people at Holy Cross are very professional, caring, the cost is a bit high, Services was very nice, cemetery is well organized and clean, except the problems with the 100+ Canadian geese that are pooping everywhere, even on the tombstone and everywhere on the grass, the geese even pull out all the new flowers so they can drink the water in the hole.Very annoying ?, Holy Cross need to do something about it.“

“A little over a year ago I reached out to Art in Stone with a very sad request... to create a head stone for my amazing late husband. It's an incredibly tough project, as many I am sure would agree, to create the very last thing for your loved one.... I was completely lost... I had no idea where to start, what to say, how to express my feelings of this immeasurable loss, sadness, grief but also to share the love of life my husband possessed??? How do you do that? How? Where does it start and do you end??? All of these, in my head , and I was completely lost ...until I met Michael! He is a saint, really. Professional, smart, kind, creative, sensitive with an amazing sense of of people's needs and wants. He has truly created the most unique and beautiful combination of my husband's past, our life together, our dreams for the future... all in one incredibly beautiful piece... Definitely recommend reaching out to the Art in Stone and asking for Michael and if he's available- you will be in the BEST hands“

“Since January 2024 each loved one who passed is blessed by their families who have gathered to remember them at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Yes, the funeral arrangers and maintenance team have been very busy coordinating, scheduling and managing services. I have personally worked with them to maintain timely "communication" and this has helped me to assist by speaking with the families while preparing and officiating prior to the funeral services at Woodlawn. Mr. Gonzales and Mr. Harper, your staff is seasoned and have done a great job despite the challenges of meeting "time schedules" of funeral services. I have seen this first hand whenever I officiate a service and when I speak one on one with these families they are pleased with the overall customer services that Woodland provides during a difficult time of mourning for their loved one. God bless you and thank you. - Pastor Bob Eusebio II“

“I have family who are buried here: Grandparents and a great-aunt and great-uncle. I can't speak to the funeral home workers, and that's just because three of my family members passed away before I was born and I never had to talk to the workers about funeral arrangements. It is a nice and peaceful place to spend time thinking about and remembering your loved ones, but my biggest gripe is with people who apparently walk their dogs here. Every time I come here, I notice there is a ton of dog crap everywhere. All I ask for is that you have a bit of respect for where you take your dogs. This is a cemetery. We just want to come and see our loved ones who are no longer with us without having to sidestep your dog's crap. Since you don't have the common sense to not bring your dogs here, at least have the decency to clean up after them.“
