Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery is a dedicated and compassionate service provider for the deceased, offering hope and consolation through shared beliefs of Resurrection. The cemetery grounds are available to all Catholics, practicing and non-practicing. The team at Holy Cross believes that bodies should be treated with the utmost respect even after death, ensuring that loved ones are in good hands.
The cemetery is well-organized and clean, though it faces a challenge with over 100 Canadian geese that often leave droppings on tombstones and grass, sometimes pulling out new flowers. Despite this, the staff is professional and caring, guiding families through necessary processes and documents in a timely and compassionate manner. The groundskeeper is especially appreciated for his kindness and willingness to help visitors find loved ones, even going into mausoleums to assist.
Families who have used Holy Cross's services often describe it as a serene and well-tended final resting place. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, whether planning ahead or dealing with a recent loss. Located at 1500 Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014, Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery also offers pre-planning services and short-notice burial arrangements. Visitors frequently mention the friendly and accommodating personnel, with staff members like Leslie Bradshaw providing helpful support to ensure all arrangements are done as requested. Overall, the caring nature of the staff and the respectful environment make it a comforting place for families during difficult times.
