“I got a great haircut from Avery! I came to my appointment with a clear sense of what I wanted and a complete inability to effectively describe it, and Avery was able to make it happen. Their prices are super reasonable and we ended up having extra time so they gave me a wash and style at the end of my cut.The space itself is sort of whatever to me, but Avery did a great job giving me a look that worked with my hair texture and the aesthetic I was hoping for, and one that requires, as I want, very little to be done to it in the morning. Would definitely go back next time I am in need of a haircut in Oakland, and have convinced a few of my local friends to try them out!“

I'm glad I did, because this was hands down the cleanest shape up I've gotten since moving to East Bay. Appreciate that they had comfy couches and shots while you wait and hot towels for after. Terry gave me a great cut, and Isaiah did an awesome job on the line design. Prices were very reasonable--$50 for the cut, and an extra $10 for the line design. I've gotten so many complements on the fresh cut around the town today. 10/10 would recommend.“

It definitely feels like hanging out in someone's cool loft apartment. Banter was friendly, positive, and slightly snarky.
