“Shop has a dope, down to earth, welcoming, community vibe to it. Been getting my last 2 cuts from Matthew and I plan to be a regular of his going forward.

I moved to the east bay about 5 years ago after spending over a decade in SF. I finally found a barber out here that I'm genuinely stoked about - no longer commuting to the Excelsior to get a cut!

“This was my first experience with Empire and now I'm spoiled. I did a walk-in at noon on a Tuesday and the place was packed. I was lucky enough to be quickly met by Young Master Jourdan who, without exaggeration, gave me the best haircut of my Gen X life.
