He asked all the right questions and we set up an appointment to begin. Their inspector came out in a couple of days and did a very thorough inspection of what needed to be done to the Chimney. Eco Grizzly pricing seemed reasonable to me so I scheduled an appointment for the technicians to come out in two weeks. They were able to come out earlier than expected and I was happy about that. “After interviewing 8 companies, we chose Ca. Skyline to remodel a master bath. Some companies tell you they've been in business a long time--but always check their license for 1) how long in business? and 2) do they carry workmen's compensation? If they don't present you with the legally required "buyer's remorse" clause--run the other way. One company gave a lower price and said they could complete the work in one day. That's ridiculous--and the lack of quality we would have had to live with. One thing we noticed, and this is important: the workers for Skyline worked confidently--and were happy. We made various aesthetic decisions along the way--and often got valuable input. A worker suggested adding a towel bar which he modified and attached to a cabinet. Last minute water filters were added at no extra charge. Head crewman Biblioni was masterful in his craftsmanship throughout. A separate company installed our custom-made shower door. Their representative said they often find sloppy work that makes their job harder--this one was done with less than 1/16 in difference from top to bottom (more than acceptable) and grout lines were straight and evenly filled. Many companies offer to do work without getting inspections along the way. If you have problems later, insurance companies will not pay if there were not proper inspections. Be smart about it. Be even smarter and use a company with experienced workers instead of ones who hire new workers every time. Our bathroom is great.“

“My bath tub was leaking into the ceiling below me. I was having trouble with the insurance company and my neighbors were being inconvenienced. Oren helped me navigate the insurance company and everyone at HouseRus provided great customer service and was patient. When they began the work they arrived on time and worked all day. They covered my floors and were very clean. The tile work was beautiful and the tub alined perfectly. The vanity and medicine cabinets were installed as I requested. I love my new bathroom! “This is a review for post-install / post-PTO support. While I'm not happy the issue existed in the first place, the follow-up was fantastic.

I emailed on a Thursday (early morning around 1:30am) with detailed comparisons between what my app was reporting and what the utility was reporting. Was able to get on a call with customer support that afternoon and by the next morning, they had a technician at my house.

For context, my system was operational but reporting incorrectly. PTO was early February and this was mid-July when I figured out there was an issue.

Chris was the technician that showed up the next day at around 11am. I showed him my comparisons, the live app and worked with him to turn off / on various loads in the house. He ran some diagnostics and eventually figured out that the CTs were installed incorrectly. He had to get on the phone with Enphase support a few times but eventually everyone figured out the issue.

Since he left, reporting on the app is close enough to what the utility is reporting that we've been able to adjust our usage to cut our usage from $250 / mo. down to $18 / mo. Prior to our system going in, we were nearing $900 / mo. during the hottest summer months.

So while we had some issues initially with Ameco and their subcontractors (communication, add-on fees after project start), ultimately the system was operational and their support really shines!

I was able to quickly and easily schedule an appt for them to come out to my house. The technician called ahead and said he was able to arrive a bit early, which is always appreciated. He inspected my roof and confirmed that there was no damage / no need for repairs. A+ for honesty. I will definitely bring them back out if and when I need to replace my roof.“
