I contacted 4 floor installation companies. the first company only installs their own products which are inferior. the second was way overpriced. the third one was a young man who didn't seem to be experienced enough for our job. thank goodness for Christopher and surface tempo! Christopher came out the same day I called. he gave me a quote and was kind enough to work with me on the price. we set the date for the demo and installation. Christopher kept in touch with me the entire time. nacho, Jose, cirilano and Vicky and Santiago came out and did an absolutely beautiful job on our den. They installed vinyl wood plank and it turned out perfectly. So if you want a great price, fantastic customer service and a professional job, call surface tempo. Highly recommend them!“

“We have used Shawn Ryan Construction for two major projects after a referral from a long time friend. Shawn responded to our needs quickly and was cost competitive for both projects. The first project was the refurbishment of a multilevel townhome rental property. Shawn and his crew removed "popcorn" ceiling material and resurfaced the ceilings, made structural repairs, changed bathroom fixtures, installed new lighting, and painted the entire interior. The second project was at our home and involved the repair of an interior water damaged wall that also required extensive repair of the adjoining outside wall. “After spending months looking for a contractor, we talked to our neighbors who all highly recommended Todd’s company after having a great experience with him. Todd was extremely knowledgeable and helped us design our dream house with a fantastic new layout and modern design. He provides three dimensional drawings and has a plethora of cabinets, hardware, and countertops on display in his Huntington Beach office.They replaced every inch of our main sewer line and found a way for us to move our laundry room inside. Todd and his team easily removed one load-bearing interior wall to create an open floor plan and built an addition to make our master bathroom larger. Todd has a consistent crew who works with him. The crew is super friendly, skilled at their job, and keeps everything clean.From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure working with Todd. “Our contractor Roman Restoration purchased Garrison Exotics Collection - Acacia Natural flooring from these folks for our flooring project -- we had our entire first floor and stairwell/landings replaced. We really like the texture, colors and finish of this flooring -- especially the minor distressing and natural color variation. RR provided us with samples of this and other flooring from OMP and we were pleased with our choice from OMP. Below for reference is my review for RR showing the Garrison flooring purchased from OMP. Thanks! YELP REVIEW FOR ROMAN RESTORATION: We selected Roman Restoration for our project -- replacing our existing downstairs floor and converting the stairwell and landings from carpet to wood using Garrison Exotics - Acacia Natural. RR did OUTSTANDING work and completed our project within budget and earlier than projected. Jorge was extremely responsive and provided knowledgeable guidance throughout. Fredy (our project manager) was on-site regularly and always available to us with lightning speed for whatever we needed - questions, professional opinion, guidance, etc. RR handled everything -- moved out our furniture, prepped our household for protection, completed the flooring and stairwell work, moved everything back and even included post-construction cleaning! “Highly highly recommended! We replaced the entire first floor with engineering hardwood last November, and we trust this family- own company. Prices (for both hardwood and install) are very reasonable. We found Slater Hardwood from Yelp, and it was a great experience from selecting the hardwood to installation. Brian is very patient and customer oriented while we were selecting the hardwood. Brian's dad, Blake, runs Cooper Flooring who does the installation. From the get-go, I found that Blake not only knows the construction codes of many houses in the area, he also has years of experience dealing with complicated situations when installing hardware. His team was very effective taking out the floor tiles, flatten the ground and completed the install beautifully. You can tell they have done the hardwood install projects many many times. I have already recommended him to my nextdoor neighbor, and she plans to call him. In a year or two, I might be ready for the big job of sanding my oak floor. He gave me a reasonable estimate. “From beginning to finish, we had a great experience with FDC. We were referred to FDC by our General Contractor. We were introduced to Edmon by appointment and took great care of us through the patient process of picking out samples and tips on moving them to different rooms throughout the home to get the proper and different lighting. We took our time determining which Engineered Hardwood flooring would work for us and Edmon was always available to answer questions. We made our choice and installation was scheduled within two weeks. We got a call before the installation that they wanted to demo a couple of days early. The installers were very professional in that we had a lot of furniture and lose items still around the house and we were able to move items freely from one portion of the house to the other and our garage was also filled. Edmon showed up at our place because we were not sure of which direction to have the run of the planks to go. We came up with the solution which made us both happy. A last minute issue came up with the transitions to the bathroom tile which Edmon came up with a transition strip that matched out wood floor perfectly and looks great. The installers also installed new baseboards of our choosing and add extra character to the room.Once installation was fully completed. We had a final visit from Edmon to our home which he inspected and answered our questions about cleaning and maintenance. We are so glad we went with FDC, especially in this post-pandemic times, in that the price and service were excellent.“
