“I took a glass blowing class at KT Glassworks with my 24 year old son and it was a wonderful experience. I'll admit it was a bit intimidating at first, since the fire and molten glass are everything you imagine and everything is red hot. Our instructor Brian did a fantastic job with safety instruction and gave us plenty of chances to practice until we felt comfortable before we ever touched the hot material. He is a talented artist in his own right and an equally great teacher. While we worked on one side of the studio, the owner and two other artists were creating beautiful pieces on the other side, and watching true masters at work while we got our first taste of the craft was a real treat. I look forward to picking up our finished pieces. I highly recommend it for adults who are curious about the art, even if you're nervous like we were.”
