We were in the market to buy our first couch for our first home together and really just wanted the space to browse, sit, and see what would fit. The showroom was the perfect space to browse and the attendants gave us lots of space to just explore which we greatly appreciated. After looking around we decided we wanted some help visualizing the couch in our space and navigating the fabrics and Michael immediately made himself available to help. He was super patient with all our questions and gave us his card so that we could go home and take our time deciding. So I was THAT customer…. I came flying in10 minutes before closing while rushing after work. After being stuck in traffic I was worried about not having enough time to make a decision. The staff at Joybird especially Michael were friendly, knowledgeable, and helped me make a better decision than the couch I initially came to look at. I had no choice but to purchase then and there on the spot as they helped me feel very confident in my choice and answered all my questions! I look forward to returning for more pieces and excellent service! 10/10!
I recently had the absolute joy (pun intended) of shopping at Joybird on Melrose, where I was lucky enough to be helped by the legendary Matthew Elster. This guy deserves a medal—or at least a really comfy chair.
Matthew patiently spent most of his afternoon with me and my son as we embarked on a very serious, very scientific mission: testing every couch in the store. We flopped, lounged, debated, rotated, and repeated until we finally made a decision and placed our order. Victory!
…Until I got home, pulled out the tape measure, and realized I had goofed. Big time. The couches we ordered were not going to fit. Cue the internal screaming.
