KT Glassworks is a great little studio! I was getting back into glass after an 18 year hiatus and this was the perfect place to do so. Although the ship is compact, it was clean, had nice, well maintained, equipment, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. My instructor, David, was knowledgeable and very good at assisting and providing direction as needed. I look forward to going back and further exploring the joy of glass!
KT and his team were extremely welcoming and helpful with our group of beginners. When they heard I was from out of town, they carefully packed up my pieces for shipping home and both arrived in tact. Highly recommend!
I came here for a group class with coworkers and it was ~awesome~. They gave us a tour and some safety instructions and then we got down to business - making glass paperweights/figurines and bowls. Tons of hands-on guidance from the teachers and plenty of support helped all of us, who were true beginners, feel safe and confident around the ovens, tools, and molten hot glass. Really singularly cool experience. Plus I love my new pieces! Thank you for opening your studio to us! Would love to come back again soon.
