200 Aquarium Way, Long Beach“We thank Rose Hills for recommending Beyond the Sea to help honor my dad’s wishes of having his ashes scattered in the ocean. Captain Tony and his team (Marcus?) were helpful in guiding us to create a wonderful program for our guests and my dad. On the day, their instructions were clear. The boat was comfortable for our 32 guests. What made it special was having each of our guests hold white birds and let them go after wishing my dad a Happy Father’s Day. Gotta thank Alex - the bird handler - for that. I highly recommend this company for a special tribute to your loved one.“

She is warm, genuine, and compassionate, without any of the formality or stiffness often associated with funeral homes. From our first interaction, she made us feel comfortable, cared for, and supported.
Shari and her staff treated both our family and our sister with extraordinary gentleness, compassion, and dignity. Every detail was handled with kindness and grace, living up to the name Natural Grace in every way.
We are deeply grateful for the care they provided and wholeheartedly recommend Natural Grace to anyone in need of their services.“

1223 Cravens Ave, Torrance“Planning the services for a loved one is a very difficult task. We were very fortunate to work along with Leslie Saldivar. She was very compassionate and committed to ensure that everything went smoothly and looked as beautiful as possible. She was patient and understanding as we had to make last minute changes. She helped us communicate with the cemetery and church so we wouldn’t have to worry about it. I would recommend this place to anyone in search for a mortuary that will treat you like family. I am beyond grateful for the care of our loved one.“
Open 24 today
5443 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach“Our family is deeply grateful to Destiny Funeral Home, and especially to Steve, the General Manager. From the very beginning to the conclusion of our father's services, Steve went above and beyond to accommodate our family and thoughtfully guided us through every part of the service planning process.
We were honoring our father’s traditional Buddhist services, and to our surprise, Steve demonstrated knowledge and familiarity with specific Buddhist traditions than we did. He understood the cultural needs, the particulars of rituals we honored, and ensured everything was done respectfully.
The entire staff was also outstanding. During the funeral service, Cindy, Kevin, and Alex were incredible, professional, attentive, and compassionate. They ensured everything was executed seamlessly and to our complete satisfaction.
Above all else, Steve's empathy and patience truly stood out. He answered every question we had without hesitation or annoyance and made us feel supported during one of the most difficult times in our lives. The level of care, compassion, and service he provided to our family was truly exceptional. We cannot recommend Destiny Funeral Home enough.“

1016 W 164th St, Gardena“I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible care and compassion Leslie Saldivar showed my family during my cousin Frank’s service at Lighthouse Memorials & Receptions – McMillan and McCormick Center. From the very beginning, Leslie went above and beyond to make one of the hardest times of our lives as comforting and meaningful as possible.
She was so sweet, patient, and compassionate—truly a light in a very dark moment for us. Leslie handled everything with such grace, professionalism, and kindness that words can hardly explain how thankful we are for her. She made the service not only smooth and stress-free, but also a beautiful and memorable experience that honored Frank in the best way possible.
While no one ever wants to find themselves in this position, when that time comes again for our family, we know without a doubt we’ll return here, because of Leslie. She is absolutely amazing at what she does, and we will forever speak so highly of her and the comfort she gave us. Thank you, Leslie, from the bottom of our hearts.“

If you're in the mood for some spine-tingling, hair-raising fun in broad daylight, Sunnyside Cemetery in Long Beach is the place to be! Nestled between the palm trees and sunshine, this cemetery has just enough eerie vibes to give you chills while you soak up that coastal warmth.
Beware the giggling ghost of Mr. Tiddles, the old cemetery cat, who loves to sneak up on unsuspecting visitors and brush against their legs (or is it just the wind? ?). And don’t even get me started on the mysterious whistling—sure, it could be the ocean breeze, but legend has it, it's Old Man Jenkins, trying to finish a tune he started in 1912! ?
Tombstones here tilt at weird angles as if they've had one too many ghostly cocktails, and if you're lucky (or unlucky), you might just hear the infamous 'tap-tap-tap' of the long-lost gardener's shovel. ? Is he still working? No one knows.
Sunnyside Cemetery: where the spirits are friendly, the sunshine is strong, and the only thing haunting you is whether you’ll get sand in your shoes. 5 out of 5 spooky tombstones! ✨"“

8AM - 6PM
141 W 22nd St, San Pedro“Five stars is simply NOT enough. Captain Gary and his boat, the Asante, made a very difficult day for me, extremely memorable and delightful! Highly professional and respectful of my husband's cremains, he created a gorgeous floral arrangement around my husband's ashes, and assisted me in lowering them to his final resting place - the ocean - for eternal rest. He makes a stop to greet the seals, all of which have different markings, and gives an interesting talk about them, and notes that their area is protected. You are able to bring on board a charcuterie, or nibble foods for guests (please provide your own napkins and plastic ware for doing so) and music (Bluetooth) We blew bubbles after the scattering. My husband enjoyed blowing bubbles, even had a bubble machine - keep the kid in you alive! Guests also tossed rose petals over board that made a beautiful pattern on the ocean. Sincere thanks again to Captain Gary and keep in mind that he prides himself on being punctual, and expects the same in return for those boarding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Captain Gary and the Asante. A forever terrific memory.“

9AM - 4PM
16701 S Central Ave, Carson“I have several family members buried here, and have been coming to Lincoln to visit since I was a young boy. A bit nostalgic as a result. However, as the years pass, I've witnessed this cemetery regress a bit. THE GOOD: The lawn care maintenance is actually quite good. I've never noticed it being overrun or brown due to lack of water from the sprinklers. The mausoleum has been so-so maintained, yet it's old as dirt. I give that a pass. Also, I'll always be appreciative of the grave diggers that disinterred my grandfather's casket with great care two years ago to accommodate my grandmother's casket. Seeing pictures of a sixty year old casket in great condition on the day of her burial really meant something special to me. THE BAD: The office seems to be perpetually closed. It's a small office, but gracious, doesn't anyone pick up a phone or return voicemails these days? Must be nice to have five hour lunch breaks while keeping the cemetery open for nine hours. In addition, the exterior signage for the cemetery could be enhanced, as it is hard to find in bad weather. While the rest of the cemetery is so-so, it just conveys that it is old, and in need of higher level maintenance. It's okay now, yet could be so much better.“

“Dennis was amazing, patient and actually asked me to tell him about my loved one which made me feel so amazing during this time, it wasn’t about the money, I felt it was more personal and that’s what’s needed at the time of losing our loved ones. Thank you so much for caring Dennis“
