“I'm not from here and I had my sister's wedding coming up. I called everywhere a couple of weeks prior but most places were closed for the week of Thanksgiving. Initially, they were too but they changed their minds and decided to open. They came to my rescue! Jasmine was my stylist; she did an amazing job making my hair perfect for the day! She made sure I was completely satisfied being very meticulous in the process. The salon itself is absolutely lovely; inside an older building with a modern interior but keeping the vibe of the original building.“

“I've been going to Bri for about a year, love her! I had IBI extensions when I first came to see her & they always looked great. Now I've been getting highlights/lowlights and she always does a great job. She gets my blonde just right, which is so important. The salon is nice, clean, comfortable and all the girls are friendly and fun. It's a chill salon vibe. I see a lot of pretty hair colors/styles on the other clients when I'm there. I’m a brand new client and was looking for a curly cut/consultation, neither of which I’ve ever had, and was a little wary after my last experience at a different salon. Michelle immediately put me at ease - she asked detailed, comprehensive questions about my current routine and hair goals, and took her time examining my natural hair to give accurate, reasonable input about cut methodology, length, and process for the best result that could be had today, and how to maintain hair health moving forward.

Every step of the process was explained in an accessible way, and also, the scalp detox/head massage was absolutely wonderful. So refreshing! You really get a complete, educational picture of the entire process without judgment and a luxury experience with premium clean beauty products. She showed me how to diffuse properly, detailed product amounts and application methods, went step by step and showed me with a handheld mirror so I could replicate the methodology on my own.

The results are absolutely fabulous. I’ve never seen my hair have such uniform curl throughout.

“This review is for Violet. From the start of the consultation process to actually doing my hair i am ecstatic. I was told previously by another stylist at a different salon that my hair had to wait months before it was safe to touch or that so much of it needed to be cut off sadly and thats with a major event coming up..I didnt give up hope and heard of Violet through a friend of a friend. Went in on a morning during the week and thankfully is super close to my job. Parking is conveniently across the street in a parking garage and free. Violet was very realistic based off my inspo pics to get blonde highlights (almost ash blonde). Initially let me know my goal would take a few sessions to achieve considering I had dark brown hair with red tones that were gonna be tricky to lift. I told her i was okay with at least lifting to a caramel color. Her demeanor was very sweet and she told me the complete opposite about how my hair was definitely okay to work with and YES i did need moisture but all is possible with masks & future care. Booked her immediately after our consultation in the parking lot almost a month in advanced. Fast forward to today , during the lifting process she realized could go lighter (what i initially wanted) We were able to achieve inspo pics without so much damage or cutting of my hair! She made sure I was okay throughout process. Simple things such as "am i pulling your hair? is the water okay or too hot?" I have gotten so many compliments and its only been a few hours. She really took care of me and my hair and revamped it completely. I am SO happy and I recommended her to a few people already. Thanks Violet!“

“Recommendation: Have a friend drop you off if you have a dye + cut service! Street parking maxes out at 3 hours. I was ready for a transformational haircut and specifically booked with Kim because of her short hair cutting/razor skills. I will note that her hourly rate was higher than I anticipated ($125/hr), but her skills justify the expense. I have long, thick, wavy-curly locks with multiple cowlicks, and Kim was able to sculpt my mop into the pixie cut of my dreams! I felt "unveiled" during the appointment. Kim took direction from how my hair naturally wanted to fall so I will not have to "fight" my hair to style it. I really wanted a low-maintenance, fun cut, and Kim delivered. Very excited to be rocking short hair in time for spring!“

my hair. I've always had this fantasy that I would meet the perfect hairdresser, sneak in her window and she would give my head the best feeling in the world. But of course, it's a dream and I choke. Im inexperienced and have no clue what im doing. It ends up being the most embarrassing moment of my entire life. It defined me for the next 3 years. I was incapable of sitting in any barber chair. I avoided salons like the plague. I hope I was the only one that was negatively impacted. Sometimes I wish I could get a do- over. I made serious efforts to educate myself on what a stylist needs from her client. Someday I will make another appointment, I hope. She really is a gorgeous human on the inside. On the outside.... holy... wow!!! So.... omfg... ok ill stop before I make a fool of myself again.
