Michelle has truly changed the way I look at my curly hair! I grew up hating it and now for the last two years, I have fallen in love with my natural hair.I really enjoy how thorough Michelle is during our appointments. I feel like every time I come in, she does a consultation. You don't get that at other places.Michelle is so sweet, kind, and knowledgeable in her craft. If you are wanting to embrace your natural hair, book an appointment with her! You won't be disappointed.Thanks for everything Michelle!

Michelle is not only very talented and educated when it comes to curly hair, but also makes the whole experience VERY enjoyable. She never tries to squeeze money out of you and has reasonable prices. Did I mention her place smells amazing, and is always VERY clean. Her head massages are out of the world. At the beginning of your session, Michelle will sit down with you to figure out exactly what you want and if you’re unsure will help you get the desired haircut for you. All in all I highly recommend her if you need a new curly hairstylist or in general.

Naturally curly hair can be a gift and a hassle. More often than not, mine was a hassle because I had to wrestle with it to end up with a style I was never really happy with.All that changed when I found Michelle Spinks at Haven Hair Studio 8 months ago. She gets curly hair. We looked at a few photos of styles that I thought would work for me and settled on one. Over the next few appointments, Michelle worked her magic. She cuts curly hair when it’s dry so she’s not working against the natural curl pattern. She showed me easy ways to style it so it’s now pretty much wash and wear.
