“The name says it all! We have used this wonderful, local caregiving service for my elderly mom for over 3 years. At first I needed just a few hours several days a week of relief/support with light housekeeping, daytime supervision, medications and meals. By last October my mother's mental and physical health was deteriorating to the point where she could no longer be safely left alone and I was worn out, so we made the transition to 24/7 caregivers. It was easier than I'd anticipated and has been a huge relief. Francis and his staff are unfailingly responsive, friendly, reliable and know this business inside out. He "got" my mom immediately and has been terrific at selecting caregivers that provide a good match for her. EC@H offers time block options, flexibility, pricing and hand-picked caregivers that you can't get with a big national company (we tried one for a while--lots of billing errors, difficult to communicate with, not very carefully screened caregivers!). Our caregivers from EC@H are wonderful: respectful, kind, careful, well-trained. They've followed "to a tee" the COVID protocols set by Francis throughout the pandemic. I'm so thankful for their sacrifices to keep my mom safe! My mother has gone from initially rejecting the idea of "strangers" in her home to accepting and actually thriving on the daily routine, stimulation and loving attention!
