577 Telegraph Canyon Rd, Chula Vista“I got my cat neutered here about a year ago. Due to the great service of my first visit, I came back to bring my cat for a wellness exam and vaccinations. I was nervous because my cat is a sweetheart at home but doesn’t do well with other people. Even though my cat was hissing and growling they were still being so patient with him. Dr. Dworak was amazing handling my cat. She took the time to give us some advice on his diet to prevent future health problems. My husband and I were really impressed with the whole service. We were worried because we didn’t know how well they would handle my cat’s behavior. The Front desk were very nice and the assistant that helped Dr. Dworak, was so sweet. Usually many people aren’t patient with my cat and are so fast to judge due to his behavior. That’s why it made me so happy how well they treated him. I will definitely come back for any more services my cat may need. This is a place you can trust! My cat means the world to me and seeing how well they did with him warmed my heart. Thank you for the lovely service.“

7850 Golfcrest Dr, San Diego“Our pets are our world, and finding a veterinarian you truly trust is so hard. Dr. Fransioli is absolutely amazing. We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! She always remembers the little details about them, which makes us trust her care completely.
The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. They even follow up after visits to check on how our pets are doing. All of their techs are amazing!
On a personal level, Dr. Fransioli remembers details about our lives too, which means so much to us. We love her so much that both me and my wife go to appointments just to see and catch up with her! We couldn’t recommend her more!“

10035 Carroll Canyon Rd Ste E, San Diego“I cannot express my gratitude enough for Tim at Sit Means Sit and what he has done to help my family. Our German Shepherd, Daisy, came to Tim facing several significant challenges that affected both her quality of life and our ability to confidently take her out in public. Thanks to Tim’s knowledge, patience, and dedication, Daisy has undergone an incredible transformation, and we are beyond grateful for everything he has done for her.
Before working with Tim, Daisy struggled with severe social anxiety after being attacked by a group of dogs. The incident left a lasting impact on her confidence and behavior. She became extremely nervous around unfamiliar dogs, reactive during walks, and barked excessively whenever she saw them. Walks became stressful experiences for both Daisy and our family. In addition, she constantly pulled on the leash, making outings physically challenging and mentally exhausting.
From our very first interaction, Tim took the time to understand Daisy’s history, behavioral challenges, and our goals as owners. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, he created a training plan tailored specifically to her needs. It was immediately clear that he genuinely cared about Daisy’s success and understood how to work with dogs that had experienced trauma.
Throughout the training process, Tim demonstrated exceptional professionalism, patience, and expertise. He not only taught Daisy new skills but also taught us how to communicate with her and reinforce those skills at home. That guidance gave us the confidence to continue her progress outside of training sessions.
One of the most remarkable changes was Daisy’s improvement around other dogs. Before training, simply seeing another dog could trigger barking, anxiety, and reactive behavior. Tim worked carefully to rebuild her confidence and teach her to remain calm and focused. Today, she is significantly more relaxed, composed, and confident around other dogs. The difference is truly night and day.
Her leash manners have improved dramatically as well. Walks that once felt like a battle are now enjoyable. Daisy walks politely, pays attention to us, and responds reliably to commands. Being able to take her out without constant pulling or stress has made a tremendous difference in our daily lives.
Beyond the behavioral improvements, Tim helped restore something even more important—Daisy’s confidence. After the attack, she seemed anxious and uncertain in many situations. Through consistent training and positive guidance, Tim helped her become more secure and comfortable in her environment.
What impressed us most was Tim’s commitment to both the dog and the owners. He was always willing to answer questions, provide encouragement, and ensure we understood how to continue reinforcing Daisy’s training. His passion for helping dogs succeed was evident in every interaction.
Today, Daisy is happier, calmer, more obedient, and far more comfortable around distractions than we ever thought possible. The improvements have positively impacted our entire family.
One final point: success requires commitment from the owner. Tim provides the tools, knowledge, and support, but you must do the daily training and follow through at home. If you put in the work, the results can be truly life-changing.
Thank you, Tim, for helping Daisy overcome her fears, rebuild her confidence, and become the amazing dog we always knew she could be.“

4414 33rd St, San Diego“My dog Daisy is a 2 year old German Shepherd and—until now—was very reactive in cars and on leash. Enough so that, at times, I thought she was too much dog for me.
Gonzalo changed all that. He did an amazing job educating me and giving me the tools to help Daisy get past that behavior.
He breaks things down for you and your dog so that each lesson can be practiced at home. He takes his time—not ever rushing; answering all your questions and giving great training advice. He is funny and deeply cares.
Daisy does not bark in the car anymore and she is not reactive on the leash any longer.
I will always be grateful to Gonzalo. I can enjoy my dog and take my little grandson on a drive with the Big Girl (Daisy). 12 + wonderful years to come.
Thank you Gonzalo!!

522 E Chase Ave, El Cajon“I recently brought my cat, James, to this veterinary hospital for a heart scan after he was diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur. At the very beginning, there was a small hiccup with scheduling — I was told I would receive a call back, and after a few days I hadn’t heard anything. I ended up reaching out via email, and once I did, everything completely turned around.
From that point on, the care and communication were exceptional. The team was extremely apologetic about the delay and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and informed every step of the way. They followed up before and after the appointment, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process.
I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Justine, who took incredible care of me and James. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience and genuinely made up for that initial misstep. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a stressful situation so much easier.
I’m very grateful for the care James received and truly appreciate how much effort the team put into making things right. Thank you for taking such great care of my boy.“

440 Front St, El Cajon“I had started to lose faith that I’d be able to keep my German Shepherd mix, Walnut, due to her intense reactivity and territorial behavior. She was resource guarding, had poor recall, and was incredibly stubborn. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what else to do.
Devotion to Dogs was recommended to me, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made for my girl. Walnut completed their two-week board and train program and came back a new dog, in the best way. No more lunging at strangers or other dogs. She plays nicely at the park and dog beach again, just like when she was younger before the reactivity set in. She can even relax in a coffee shop with me on a Sunday afternoon while I read, and I can trust her to stay calm and settled.
The training is just as much for the humans as it is for the dogs. I didn’t know how to set boundaries or communicate clear expectations before. The trainers worked with me 1:1 to make sure I knew exactly how to maintain everything Walnut learned once she came home.
Huge shoutout to Ben, Joshua, and Martina for their patience, consistency, and genuine care for every dog that walks through their doors. Walnut and I will be forever grateful. The weekly free socialization classes are such a gift and help us keep everything fresh.
Thank you Devotion to Dogs! You gave me my dog back. ❤️“

4375 Twain Ave, San Diego“Absolutely amazing place! I highly reccomend. My dog, Maddox, is typically very skiddish when it comes to people. Before we adopted him I'm guessing he wasn't very well socialized. Maddox loves the entire staff at canines unleashed.
They come out if they can to pick up your dog, and Maddox runs into daycare. Our typically very clingy dog doesnt even look back! You can't fake that.
Also around the holidays they take photos with your dog in bunny ears for easter or like a reindeer around Christmas. My fiance loves them. We will drop him off just to get a framed photo of Maddox dressed up. She keeps the pictures on a shelf.
There are cameras so if you want to take a look you can see your dog playing with other puppies, following the employees around or drinking from the water. You never have to worry if your dog is OK.
Our dog means the world to us, and Maddox loves canines unleashed. Therefore he will always come back.“

Their location is also very convenient, an easy drive from downtown San Diego and the North Park and South Park neighborhoods. I would absolutely recommend entrusting them with the care of your pets.“

“Chris is awesome, tremendous patient, and caring. First thing Lacey learned after a group class was DROP. I have used this and she hits the deck. She is also trained for boundaries (not to cross thresholds w/o permission. Chris is a wonder. I live in Santee but manage a building in south county. A couple with 2 lab pit cross were having issues with their rescue pups. Viola Chris to the rescue. The pups are like night and day since first session thanks Chris for all you do. I don’t travel out of town for work anymore is kept up daily now. Thanks Chris from Lacey dog and Kim.“

1612 48th St, San Diego“We are multiple repeat customers. Kari has given our Newfoundland (Masha) a second home when needed, whether for a few hours or days at a time. I have confidence that Masha's care is sound and her environment is extraordinary. She has plenty of room and stimulation both inside and outside. When we arrive, Masha is excited to see Kari and eager to start play with her and her dog. Our only disappointment has been those times that Kari was full and we have had to look elsewhere.“

2260 Otay Lakes Rd #113, Chula Vista“I am so happy that I made the decision to bring a stray cat that I wanted to take in to Dr. Bischel and her team! After spending months earning his trust, I was finally able to capture a stray in my neighborhood and wanted to get him the vet care he needed. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to have a routine neuter because of an anatomical defect, but Dr. Bischel and her team were able to make it possible for him to have an abdominal surgery to be neutered as well as address his other needs as a previous stray. Throughout the entire process, everyone at the clinic was so kind, encouraging and took the best care of our Kedi, I truly felt like he couldn’t be in better hands. They helped guide me to ensure he had a strong recovery, and I am happy to share that he has grown into the sweetest, most affectionate and happy little boy thanks to Dr. Bischel and her team. Thank you Dr. Bischel and all of the Eastlake Village Clinic staff for taking the best care of Kedi, and I hope you know how you truly transformed his life for the best. It is much appreciated.“
