We introduced an 8wk old female puppy that will be trained as my Medical Alert Service Dog to our 2 adult Male dogs...it didnt go well. Ww made multiple mistakes in the introduction. Despite my 30 years in Veterinary Medicine (now retired) and training multiple dogs on my own, I knew I had made mistakes in the initial introduction.
I had reached out to multiple trainers. 1 trainer that I had contacted prior to our puppy even being born, came over to talk about expectations and evaluate the boys to help us with a few concerns we had before bringing the puppy home. Kevin is a great handler and truly helped me manage my dog better as well as learned how to properly work with a ecolllar . I would recommend him to anyone I know since his training methods worked well with my dog cubone.
Everything from their experience to their training, to even just the people who work here show so much that this isnt just a dog training facility. This is all of their passions. Kevin is an extremely professional, kind, and experienced trainer. Him and his wife are an absolute team and they cover all the bases necessary, they teach not only your dog, but YOU, to help maintain the training whether you went in for a daily, or had your dog boarded there for 3 weeks. Trust the process. It is worth the investment. They provided all the tools necessary to appropriately train your dog. And Kevin takes very good care of the animals he boards.
