“For about 12 years now Kensington Vet Hospital has kept my cat (curled up next to me in my computer chair) in good health. He's happy, I'm happy. Fees have been very reasonable for routine care. Some pricey meds, but that's out of the vet's control. Don't know where else I would go, or why I would want to.“

“Dr. Dorsey and Dr. Hart are the nicest, kindest, most professional veterinarians. They have nursed and helped me through four cats. I love their office staff. They try to get appointments for any of my fur babies, and when one of them passed away, the office gave a donation to a cat illness research. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate all their service and care for my pets. They are so reassuring and when the time comes for… Again, they are empathetic and sympathetic.“

“Berkeley Dog and Cat is a wonderful veterinarian hospital. I have been coming here for over 20 years after taking my dog to numerous other vets to find out what was wrong. They figured out her health problem right away and she went on to live a long happy life. Now I take my cat there. The vets are top notch and the front office staff are kind and welcoming.“

“I've given reviews before but wanted to reiterate how wonderful Dr. Gill is! She's literally the vet who I trust the most with my fur babies. Yesterday, she saved my five year old Ragdoll's life! He has PICA syndrome which is very challenging and unfortunately he chewed a kitchen rag causing a blockage. At first, Dr. Gill seemed hesitant as she said that this was a complicated procedure which could involve the stomach and intestines. She warned of the possibility of a rupture. I cried when dropping my Nicholas off for the surgery but had faith that he was in good hands -- and he was! The surgery went smoothly and he's now recovering very well at home. If you have pets, you should trust this amazing doctor! She's my heroine! Thank you, Dr. Gill! And to her amazing technician too! She was great. She explained things so well and was very kind.“

“Dr. Wright was great and everyone else we interacted with was very nice. This was our first visit with our newly adopted dog who is very fearful after coming from a hoarding situation. Dr. Wright answered all of our questions. Everyone handled him patiently and with good care. I found the pricing/estimate process to be comparable to an independent practice where I currently take my cat. They presented top tier care options and gave me time to ask questions and prioritize.“

“I've noticed such a positive shift in the atmosphere at the clinic! Thank you for continuing to better the practice for the wellbeing of our pets. I went from dreading having to bring in my cats because they left traumatized and I felt like nothing really happened, to now looking forward to the comprehensive care and love my cats will receive- such a notable step up in the level of care. Even for my spicy orange one, they just make it work and don't make me or her feel like a problem.

I brought in my mellow baby boy this past month for an urgent same day visit, and was met with the kindest front desk staff who helped work me in & the most knowledgeable/gentle tech. I watched my cat receive the most thorough exam followed by the best explanations and steps for a work up. I even got a call with the xray results same day- the Dr didn't have to do that, they said 24-48 hrs. I have even called back for advice and follow up, and gotten to speak with the Dr's on staff that day, without feeling like a burden.

I rarely do reviews but wanted to give a shout out because the positive shift is remarkable, the warmth you feel when you walk in is now palpable, and the security I feel calling them my vet is peace you need as a pet owner.

“My dog had a very bad rash. Evergreen pet clinic staff were very friendly and the doctor Rao was very attend and helpful. I very recommend this Clinic and the prices are affordable.“

“I haven't seen anyone mention bunny neutering yet, so I thought I'd share my experience! SOMA animal hospital took wonderful care of my 5 month old boy Mack. They did a thorough pre-procedure process with labwork and lots of aftercare info. He was given meds with easy instructions and was handled so carefully and they were in touch with me the whole process of the neuter. I was terrified just because of how delicate rabbits are under anesthesia, but they did such a great job and he had zero issues post-op.
The one thing I will say is this specific animal hospital is extremely expensive compared to other exotic vets in SF, but it's worth it if you want proper care. I would rather spend 1 grand and have my baby safe and taken care of than spend $600 somewhere else and put my baby in danger.“

“We've had 3 senior dogs under Dr Lin's care for a while now, she's been awesome! We appreciate her coordination with outside specialists in addition to the excellent care and guidance she provides. Ryan is really helpful at the front desk, and the vet assistants have been fabulous.“

“Definitely five stars from us. Taking your fur baby for a surgery is never fun. Our Roxy needed TPLO surgery after hurting both back knees. Our Dr. was very genuine when giving us options during the consultation. Also, the staff was very professional and comforting. I hope not to return and if I do, I have the confidence my fur baby will be treated with comfort.“

“The vets & the staff are very sensitive and were incredibly kind and accommodating when my late dog was very sick, even when things got a little gross. They also gave so many treats & cuddles to my puppy during vaccinations that she truly loves going to the vet, even after seeing her brother so sick there. They seem a little pricey but it’s worth it to me.“

“I've been taking my dog to Claremont Vet since I adopted him five years ago. He is a pup with a lot of medical issues and health challenges, and has been to Claremont Vet at least a dozen times (maybe even close to two dozen) for both urgent care and regular visits. We've most often seen Dr. MacDonald (who we love) but have seen all the providers at one point or another. The staff are so compassionate, professional, and helpful. The doctors are exceptional with their knowledge, care towards my pup, and their patience with my questions. I always feel like my pup (and myself!) are in excellent hands with the team. And I love that I'm supporting a woman owned small businesses. I've had to take my pup in to ER vets elsewhere a few times and (understanding there's a vet shortage and everyone in the field is worked to the bone), I have always walked away feeling so grateful that Claremont Vet is my primary provider and offers such great care. I could not recommend Claremont Vet more and I will certainly bring future pets here.“
