Rest assure that they also need rest and will be closed for the holidays season. However, they provide alternative emergency facilities while they are closed.“

“I usually end up waiting a very long time past my appointment time before my pet is seen. And I understand that there is usually only one vet working at a time, but if you make an appointment just make sure you set aside at least 2 hours. Otherwise staff is friendly and the vet is great and knowledgeable.“

“Nothing could ever prepare me for the day I lost my soul pet. Hearts & Halos supported us immediately because of how quickly my baby’s health declined. I can’t believe I can look back on the day I let her go and say the process was better than I could have imagined. Dr. Denise Osborne and her assistant showed up with such compassion. I am crying as I write this because of the kindness and patience they showed me on the hardest day of my life. Now I can live with the memory of laying my sweet girl to rest in the comfort of her home and in my arms, just how my journey in life with her began.

“Dr. A (Andrew Arriola) and the whole staff at Animal Hospital of South Bay is wonderful. I brought my dog, Sophie, a 7 year old maltese-shih tzu, here after leaving my previous vet, just for a routine checkup as well as to observe a cough she had developed. He diagnosed her that day with heart disease which was obviously a shock as she had been nothing but healthy according to our previous vet. He took X-rays and showed us everything and walked us through it all.

As a puppy, we were told by our previous vet that she had a heart murmur but to bring her in every 6 months for a check up so they could continue to keep an eye on it. We thought they were monitoring it but according to Dr. A, they were not. This was extremely jarring to hear but Dr. A was very reassuring that with proper medication (that we started immediately) and seeking a cardiologist, we could delay her heart failure. Throughout this whole process Dr. A understood our surprise, sadness, and frustrations and did an amazing job at educating and comforting me and my family.

After following the proper protocol and doing everything we could for Sophie to ensure she was comfortable, we unfortunately made the decision to euthanize and, when we did, Dr. A and his staff were extremely supportive. After her passing, we received a card signed by all the staff members which meant a lot. Although we lost Sophie, Dr. A was able to buy us invaluable time with her that we wouldn't have gotten had we never gone to him and stayed at our previous vet -- grateful doesn't even begin to cover it.“

“I love Dr. Traci she is the best. I feel at ease knowing I'm leaving my little Dude in knowledgeable and loving hands. Every employee I have had contact with has made me feel like family. They are so kind. I would highly recommend taking your loving pet here. I know I would never think of taking my precious little Dude anywhere else. UPDATE Everyone at Ohana Veterinary Clinic is exceptional. The receptionists the doctors the assistants. I have never felt more comfortable when leaving Dude in the hands of Dr. Traci or anyone at Ohana. The love that everyone gives is rare. to Dude it's like they are treating their animal. They give Dude so much love it's amazing. I would never take Dude anywhere else. I took my little dog Dude for an appointment. He has been coming here all his life. It was an exceptionally hot day. I was surprised but not really surprised because I know the staff here at Ohana Veterinarian clinic is always thinking about your precious pet. They had put out a fresh bowl of water for my Dude. I can't say it enough I Love this clinic and every employee. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND OHANA VETERINARIAN CLINIC. Update 1/29/26. Once again Ohana Veterinary Clinic has provided my dog Dude with precise care. I never leave wondering what else could they have done. I feel confident and pleased with every visit. They have the sweetest and kindest staff I've ever come across. And the doctors are an exceptional team all of them. “After having my two cats for a long time at a particular vet (not Center Sinai) I was beginning to experience issues where after having a visit or running tests I could never get a vet or anyone to walk through with me the details of lab results that were not normal or other physical situations the cats were experiencing. Additionally the prices for every service seemed to be going sky high. Every solution to an issue was some expensive test or screening that were the price of a good used car. A friend of mine suggested Center Sinai and I brought my two cats there for an introductory general checkup, rerun lab results, xray one cat's hip etc. The vet was incredibly informative and took the time to walk through everything with me. The xray showed some arthritis and a shot was given that has vastly improved my cat's pain level and quality of life. A non-general anesthesia teeth cleaning was recommended for one of the cats which I never knew existed (my former vet would only do the anesthesia one which among other things stresses the pet and cost thousands of dollars). One cats abnormal lab results from the former vet were reviewed and deemed not alarming (the former vet assistant told me the vet considered them alarming and said a sonogram costing thousands would need to be done) re-ran the lab and everything was normal. I am extremely happy to have found a caring, fair and informative vet for my cats and am relieved to be done with a vet I felt I could no longer trust.“

“I had such a positive experience here and am truly grateful for the kindness and care shown to both me and my cat.
My cat has had a large lump on his arm for some time, and I came in feeling very anxious and worried. The staff took the time to examine him thoroughly and explained everything clearly and honestly. They reassured me that he is otherwise healthy and that the lump can be removed through a cosmetic surgery if we choose to move forward, which gave me a lot of peace of mind.

When my cat became stressed and reactive during the visit, the team handled it with patience and compassion. Instead of forcing anything, they adjusted the plan and provided medication to help him relax for his next appointment so blood work can be done safely and calmly. I really appreciated that they prioritized his comfort and well-being.

The estimates for blood work and surgery were clear, reasonable, and far more manageable than I expected, which was a huge relief. I never felt judged or rushed; just supported and listened to.
