“My review is long overdue. Nov 2022 a horrific incident happened to my next door neighbors, which included a house fire. At 12:30am a call was made to AHW, thinking just leave a msg for the next day (Saturday), but was shocked when Mike answered the phone. He and his team were there at 8am to put boards on windows etc. AHW was then hired to do the gutting of the home. All household items, refrigerator, furniture, personal belongings, everything! I'll talk first about their work ethic, they all were extremely professional, honest, dedicated, energetic, and knew what needed to be done. Once the home was emptied out, they went to work on ripping everything down, walls, ceilings, cabinets, flooring etc. Right down to the studs. Everyday they left, everything was cleaned up on the outside, sweeping, hosing down etc. Now the human side to these amazing gentlemen. Again, this was a horrific incident. ALL the staff at AHW were compassionate, empathetic and extremely kind to the family. While cleaning out personal items, they'd put items aside that weren't damaged by fire/smoke/water, that were sentimental to the family. Example, photos, wall painting, Dads Notre Dame and Angels memorabilia, Great Grandma's grandfather clock etc. I believe other companies wouldn't have had the degree of compassion they had, and would have tossed these items. Most just want to come in, get the job done and leave. NOT AHW, they came with their hearts open and empathy shining through. I highly recommend AHW for all the reasons stated above: Professional, Honest, Dedicated, Ethical, Hard Working, Very responsive, Respectful; there's so many positive adjectives I can use for them and it still wouldn't be enough. If you don't believe me, do yourself a favor, if you're ever in need of this type of service, call AHW, I promise you won't be disappointed! Mike, Ray, Justin and Henry their compassion went beyond the family, it was also given to me as a friend/neighbor for over 22 years!“

Their representative, Tristan Kerr, was helping coordinate the entire process. He and his team were amazing! “Took a small (3x5?) Persian rug in after my German Shepherd "christened" it. Found the problem hours after it occurred, called these guys and took it in. I feel like these are guys who know their business, and they did a great job. Friendly, honest and informative. Note: expecting a new rug after cleaning is not realistic, but I'd need to show you the area for it to be noticeable. Very happy with the results. Just hoping my dog finds a better place next time I ignore her midnight request to be let out. I recommend them without reserve.“
“I had a different company, recommended by a local plumber, who came out and told me I had thousands of dollars worth of damage, mold, and would have to have another company come out and do reconstructive work once they were done because they would have to pull out cabinets and sinks and make big holes in the walls. They even offered to falsify documents to my home owners insurance company. Once they did that, I knew they were not trustworthy, and refused their service. That is when I called Lou Gil at 411 Restoration. I asked if he could come look at my house and give me an estimate for the work needing to be done. He came out right away and was immediately able to tell me that my situation was not what the other company explained it to be, still urgent, but not the massive undertaking that the other company described, no mold, just water. He was able to bring in a crew quickly and began drying out my house right away. He is very professional, friendly and trustworthy. He communicated what would happen and followed through. The cost was a fraction of what the other company wanted to charge and there was no structural damage. The technique he used was minimally invasive and only required us to paint a little where the work was done. I will recommend Lou Gil and 411 Restoration to anyone that I know who needs these types of services in the future and will gladly work with them again if I ever have the opportunity to.“

The plumber took care of the leak and ServPro came in to take care of the moisture and mold that had developed. Chris and Chris, and the crew, were great. They explained everything, were clean and courteous and mindful of our pets, and they were on-site and ready to go as expected. And they're nice guys, too!“
