Two preliminary notes: First, we are in central Marin (despite my out-of-date SoCal location). And, second, this is a long-overdue review, because Sam and his team remodeled our kitchen and master bedroom in late 2019 / early 2020. Sam certainly deserves a strong recommendation, and I also think this late post is a testament to how well his work has held up. We talked to a number of contractors before hiring Sam. He came across as the most genuine and honest, and we were very happy that the person he presented as when we talked to him was exactly who he was throughout our project. Sam enclosed my existing porch, turning it into a very useful mud room. His work included new walls, roof, windows and door. Everything is well built and custom to fit the space. Sam was very helpful in making design decisions and getting my room built under budget. Sam is very professional and organized. We hired this company for a major kitchen remodel. Sam from Kitchen King was extremely responsive and professional from day one until the completion of the project. His communication skills are superior and the quality was superb. There were several teams involved and Sam was able to bring it all together and execute perfectly. What we especially appreciated was his ability to get hands on and drive to completion when a subcontractor was unexpectedly unavailable.
