“I recently brought my cat, James, to this veterinary hospital for a heart scan after he was diagnosed with a grade 3 heart murmur. At the very beginning, there was a small hiccup with scheduling — I was told I would receive a call back, and after a few days I hadn’t heard anything. I ended up reaching out via email, and once I did, everything completely turned around.

From that point on, the care and communication were exceptional. The team was extremely apologetic about the delay and truly went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported and informed every step of the way. They followed up before and after the appointment, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire process.

I especially want to give a huge shout-out to Justine, who took incredible care of me and James. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a positive experience and genuinely made up for that initial misstep. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made a stressful situation so much easier.

“I had started to lose faith that I’d be able to keep my German Shepherd mix, Walnut, due to her intense reactivity and territorial behavior. She was resource guarding, had poor recall, and was incredibly stubborn. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what else to do.

Devotion to Dogs was recommended to me, and it was the best decision I’ve ever made for my girl. Walnut completed their two-week board and train program and came back a new dog, in the best way. No more lunging at strangers or other dogs. She plays nicely at the park and dog beach again, just like when she was younger before the reactivity set in. She can even relax in a coffee shop with me on a Sunday afternoon while I read, and I can trust her to stay calm and settled.

The training is just as much for the humans as it is for the dogs. I didn’t know how to set boundaries or communicate clear expectations before. The trainers worked with me 1:1 to make sure I knew exactly how to maintain everything Walnut learned once she came home.

Huge shoutout to Ben, Joshua, and Martina for their patience, consistency, and genuine care for every dog that walks through their doors. Walnut and I will be forever grateful. The weekly free socialization classes are such a gift and help us keep everything fresh.

“Our pets are our world, and finding a veterinarian you truly trust is so hard. Dr. Fransioli is absolutely amazing. We have two cats, Roy Kent and POTUS Bader Ginsburg, and a dog named Abbey, and they absolutely ADORE Dr. Fransioli! The entire experience at Rancho San Carlos Vet is top-notch — communication is excellent, scheduling is easy, the online portal is convenient for appointments and prescription food, and we love the text and call reminders. “This review is long overdue! We did the 3-week day train program with Strategic K9 earlier this year, and the difference in our dog's behavior is truly night and day. From the very beginning, communication and scheduling with Michelle and the team was easy and stress-free.

Kevin did such a great job training our dog, he really tailored the program to fit her bubbly personality and brought out the best in her. Not only did he teach her, he gave us helpful tips and tricks to keep things going once she came home.

She is also trained for boundaries (not to cross thresholds w/o permission. Chris is a wonder. I live in Santee but manage a building in south county. A couple with 2 lab pit cross were having issues with their rescue pups. Viola Chris to the rescue. The pups are like night and day since first session thanks Chris for all you do. “David is great. His methods work wonders. His techniques even worked with a Siberian Husky, a bred many say is untrainable. Definitely recommend. He is an excellent trainer. At the end you will enjoy a perfect dog.“

“All the staff are very friendly & knowledgeable. They smile, have great eye contact when talking to you & care about your family member. Quality of care is excellent. Front office area is extremely clean with zero offensive odors. Examine rooms are also very clean. No visible worn or torn furniture. Only minor issue..2nd time she has chewed thru her leash :(“

“We are multiple repeat customers. Kari has given our Newfoundland (Masha) a second home when needed, whether for a few hours or days at a time. I have confidence that Masha's care is sound and her environment is extraordinary. She has plenty of room and stimulation both inside and outside. When we arrive, Masha is excited to see Kari and eager to start play with her and her dog. Our only disappointment has been those times that Kari was full and we have had to look elsewhere.“

“My dog Chanel had an emergency and their whole team was wonderful in explaining what the cause was (anal rupture) how they would take action to correct the issue, and the follow-up appointments. They really care about your pets! They took their time explaining the medicine, doses, everything.

They even went above and beyond. I thought there might have been an issue with Chanel's stitches and emailed them a photo - they quickly responded letting me know what I was seeing was normal.
