Subsequently the house we bought went through major renovation and I used their service again. During the course of the renovation, we had the solar guy breaking the roof tiles and wrongly blaming the roofing guys. Throughout the whole incident, I found Dan to be professional and calm - did not play the blaming game and quietly supplied more tiles (In the end, both the solar company and Timberline were very honorable. The solar company owned up to their mistakes and worked together with Timberline to fix the issue). A few days ago during the storm, we got a leak on our roof. My husband called Timberline and they were out there the next day to fix it - that's pretty good service...“

“Our 18 year old Monier Lifetile Cedarlite roof had many broken tiles due to its inherent fragility and foot traffic from painters and solar equipment installers. Most roofers that we contacted refused to work on it because of its fragility. We eventually found 3 roofers who made bids (one without even going up on the roof!). We chose California Custom Contractors (CCC) because the owner, Greg Meo did a thorough inspection which he documented with photographs. His proposal, again carefully documented with photographs of the proposed repairs, was not the cheapest of the 3 but its thoroughness and Greg's obvious experience with Cedarlite tile roofs (again, more photos of past jobs) made the choice clear. We learned that CCC does not install new roofs but only does repairs.CCC cleaned moss and other debris from the roof, replaced and painted all pipe flashings, replaced all broken tiles and installed metal flashing to replace the original cracked lead flashing. All of the work done was documented with photographs. Our roof now looks fantastic and we are confident that there will be no leaks. Greg and his team of 3 very experienced workers were a pleasure to work with and get my highest recommendation. If your roof needs careful conscientious repair, call California Custom Contractors; despite their generic name, they only repair roofs.“

“I had a roof leak that I couldn't find, a contractor friend looked at it and couldn't find it. I called Cornell Roofing and Clint Sr. came out and he couldn't find it but patched a couple of spots to try to stop the leak. The next time it rained, it was still leaking so I called Clint and told him that I wanted to get it re-roofed. He sent a guy out to tarp it for me and within a short time he had his crew on-site busting it out. Clint Jr. and his crew re-roofed and took care of all dry rot in two days. I highly recommend Cornell Roofing for your roofing project.“

“Had a section of gutter come down during recent high winds. Been considering installing gutter guards so had Oscar quote both jobs. He pointed out that the gutters also needed better securement to the house which I hadn’t noticed. His guys showed up on time, cleaned the roof as well as the gutters first. “I called 4 gutter cleaning services (including this one) in the last week for my elderly moms home in San Ramon. She needed her gutters cleaned badly and she was nervous about getting any roof damage (since they have to go on the roof), and she also wanted to make sure the gutters were cleaned out really well- & that it wasn't a half a$$ job. After speaking with Howard Bass, the owner of House Prep, and asking him several questions, I felt that they would be the best choice for my moms house. They were booked out 2 weeks and I asked him to call me if they got a cancellation. I was so happy to get a call yesterday from Howard saying that there was a change in their schedule, and now his partner Jeffrey could do it that same day. Howard assured me Jeffrey was the best. He wasn't kidding! Jeffrey came, and not only was he the nicest guy ever, he did such an amazing job! He was so thorough in the cleaning and took us to the back and front yard & showed us what needed to be repaired on the gutters. He also showed us the moss that was growing on the roof and explained what we needed to do (we didn't even notice - even though there was a lot! ). He just went over and beyond and it didn't go unnoticed. My mom loved him so much and was so happy with such great service from him she gave him a giant hug when he was leaving.
