When I almost decided to install real grass at the backyard, he remind me of the trees that would make it difficult to grow and maintain the grass. For some other reasons, we postponed the project to a later date. I will definitely contact him again when we do the project.“

His staff was always also very nice, polite and helpful.Given that we had not had any experience with this type of renovation, having someone like Paul was priceless. “We hired Jesus based on his reviews here on Yelp and after meeting him in person. The reviews here could not have been more on point!He was on time for our first meeting. He quoted us a fair price. He started the job on time and finished ahead of schedule. His crew was professional, polite and they cleaned up during the process which was very important since the job was on a busy street that has heavy foot traffic.Jesus was very honest with the scope of work. We discussed options for our project and he came up with a product that would be durable, economical and would suit the needs of the area we were addressing. It had been an eyesore for years and a constant weeding problem that we wanted a solution for. We will be using Jesus and his crew in the near future to address the front yard. We would highly recommend his company.“

“Brian and Noe did a masterful job on both our front and back yards! The end product was more beautiful and more serene than we ever could have imagined. We’ve gone from never using our backyard to using it daily. Our front yard was an eye sore and now it brightens up the entire block - we especially love the gorgeous paver walkway they built which brings us joy each time we use it. Brian’s pricing is slightly higher than others we had contacted but it was well worth it!We had read many reviews about Brian’s “organic” process and though we were a little skeptical, we got the sense that he was very experienced and a true craftsman and decided to go with him, and we're so glad we did. He has a great sense for how to design a space, balancing form and function. His experience also allows him to bring a calm and a confidence in his ideas, which he used to skillfully guide the process. There were a couple times where we had wanted to interject a point of view that would have resulted in a less nice end product, and Brian was great at hearing us out, but also gently guiding us in a better direction.Finally, here are a few of the things we really appreciated:- The ability to weigh in some design choices (e.g. pavers, turf, etc), but those choices being limited so that we were choosing between better and best- The flexibility that the “organic” process allows for (we went back and forth on the backyard water feature and in the end decided to go with it + we added add’l lighting that wasn’t in the original proposal)- The speed with which he and Noe completed the work - the whole thing was done in < 6 weeks- The handover walk through and accompanying plant map and instructions, which gave us some pride of ownership- Brian’s responsiveness to our follow up questions after the job was completed“

“We had a tree in front of our house that needed to be trimmed. The whole process from getting an estimate to doing the job was very smooth. They were good at working around the city issues (busy street, street cleaning, city restrictions etc.) The crew who came to do the trimming was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating.“
“Working with neighbors on a budget and contractor for both a 25ft long retaining wall and a fence can turn your hair gray (if it isn't already). Don't get me wrong, I love my neighbors, but this was a 4 year ordeal. Concrete, wood, concrete, wood. Mike (and others) gave me a bid 4 years ago, but the project got put on hold. I reached out to Mike again and got other bids in 2021. WARNING all the other contractors did NOT have workman's comp and were NOT bonded and insured. And yes, they were less expensive. That said, I'm not gonna have workers transporting huge heavy lumber through my garage and working in my yard without the company carrying workman's comp and being insured. I'm not up for a lawsuit if something bad happened. So....we went with Mike. There were some glitches that took place - a little stressful at times with the neighbors, but Mike's work team were great. When we got a little stuck with a misunderstanding about a portion of the job, Mike made sure to make it all right and made my neighbor happy. Nice guy, great team, go for it!“

“We've worked with Spryscapes multiple times, and have been completely satisfied each time. Greg, Mike, et al are great at what they do (from the initial inspection/estimate through the completed work). Greg came out today to look at a small job we have, even though their plate is full with other projects. He spent the right amount of time, and concluded that although Spryscapes could do the work, he recommended other firms who could do the work faster (even calling one firm to get a general cost estimate). We will always contact Spyscapes for our future projects.“

“This company comes highly recommended. Joel and his staff are very professional. Communication was excellent throughout the course of construction. They managed to complete the project in a timely manner with no long delays throughout the project milestones. Joel did not hesitate to ask questions to make sure we resolved issues that were not clearly detailed in the landscape architects drawing and offering advice on what he recommends. Joel did an excellent job of capturing the changes and adds to the project both in scope and cost. His staff left the job site safe and clean everyday. Overall I could not be any happier with the outcome. My family and I spend much time in the back yard and my front finally has curb appeal.Joel was also the one who recommended Tammy.
