“Brian and Noe did a masterful job on both our front and back yards! The end product was more beautiful and more serene than we ever could have imagined. We’ve gone from never using our backyard to using it daily. Our front yard was an eye sore and now it brightens up the entire block - we especially love the gorgeous paver walkway they built which brings us joy each time we use it. Brian’s pricing is slightly higher than others we had contacted but it was well worth it!We had read many reviews about Brian’s “organic” process and though we were a little skeptical, we got the sense that he was very experienced and a true craftsman and decided to go with him, and we're so glad we did. He has a great sense for how to design a space, balancing form and function. His experience also allows him to bring a calm and a confidence in his ideas, which he used to skillfully guide the process. There were a couple times where we had wanted to interject a point of view that would have resulted in a less nice end product, and Brian was great at hearing us out, but also gently guiding us in a better direction.Finally, here are a few of the things we really appreciated:- The ability to weigh in some design choices (e.g. pavers, turf, etc), but those choices being limited so that we were choosing between better and best- The flexibility that the “organic” process allows for (we went back and forth on the backyard water feature and in the end decided to go with it + we added add’l lighting that wasn’t in the original proposal)- The speed with which he and Noe completed the work - the whole thing was done in < 6 weeks- The handover walk through and accompanying plant map and instructions, which gave us some pride of ownership- Brian’s responsiveness to our follow up questions after the job was completed“

“Chris completely transformed our front and back yards. Prior to starting, we discussed our basic wants- low maintenance, low water use- and a price target, and then left everything to him. Five years later we remain very happy with the results. All the plants still look great, the drip system has been perfect, and it has required minimal upkeep.“

These folks are models of efficiency! Blown away by the quality of work at the price given. Good communication, on time and did way more work than expected. Went above and beyond the call of duty with two house (front yards - right next to each other) side by side.
Work done: completely cleaned one yard that was overgrown and unkept. They also took a 2nd yard; cleaned it of weeds, trimmed the trees ? and replanted succulents as needed.
Can’t wait for them to return and work on my 60ft back yard next. So happy with the outcome!!!

“Beth did an amazing job designing our new backyard. She is truly an artist and created something far more beautiful as well as practical for our family than I had imagined. My less-than-5-star rating is for a few difficulties I had with the process. The first was when she ignored/forgot that I had a budget and when the initial estimate from the installation crew came in, it meant the overall project would cost triple my budget. Second, I found it somewhat difficult to work with her on the design. If I had left her to design what she wanted 100%, everything would have gone perfectly smoothly. But I knew what I wanted and she had some problems with that...and rather than having a discussion with me about it, she just sort of avoided it, which was frustrating. I had the feeling that it was similar to commissioning an artist to paint a portrait and then asking for something to be changed...an artist wants the freedom to create the art they envision and is frustrated with a client who wants something other than their vision. In the end I gave in. I wanted a garden with lots of color and large blooms...and I have a gorgeous garden, but there's virtually no color. There was one large bloom plant that was included in the installation-- hydrangea, 5 of them-- but only one has survived. One other minor complaint is that now that plants have been growing for 9 months, some are too big for the space they were planted in and others have covered up smaller plants entirely. Beth was a pleasure to work with other than these challenges.“

“We hired Jesus based on his reviews here on Yelp and after meeting him in person. The reviews here could not have been more on point!He was on time for our first meeting. He quoted us a fair price. He started the job on time and finished ahead of schedule. His crew was professional, polite and they cleaned up during the process which was very important since the job was on a busy street that has heavy foot traffic.Jesus was very honest with the scope of work. We discussed options for our project and he came up with a product that would be durable, economical and would suit the needs of the area we were addressing. It had been an eyesore for years and a constant weeding problem that we wanted a solution for. We will be using Jesus and his crew in the near future to address the front yard. We would highly recommend his company.“
