Dr. Lin was able to directly address these issues and after several sessions the symptoms were either nearly or completely eliminated. He uses a range of therapies in his office paired with an easy to use web-based program of individual exercises.“

I visited her 3 times in total, and each time she was able to provide specific changes to the rehab plan based on my recovery progress. Overall, I would highly recommend her if you are a climber and looking to rehab your seemingly mysterious injury.“

44 Gough St Fl 3, Ste. 308, San Francisco“There is truly nothing like this place anywhere in the world. This level of care and compassion from medical providers is very rare nowadays, and I’m so glad I found it so close to my work!
From the very first visit, I already felt part of the “family” and like I was going to be taken care of. Micheline knows her stuff, and I felt like she was personally invested in my improvement. Every single aide was personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. Micheline makes sure every aide checks in on how you’re feeling at the beginning, if you’ve noticed any pain or changes, and redoes the plan for you every time. Then Micheline does body work on you and asks you how you’re doing. They always do what you’re comfortable with, and they’re super flexible with whether you’re there over time or leave early. Everything is up to you, and I don’t think there’s that level of care anywhere else.
Scheduling was made easy as Micheline gives you her phone number in case you’re running late or need to move things around last minute. They are so understanding and truly want to make sure you’re doing better. I have never been so sad to leave a place that tortured me with wall sits and bird dogs! And the fact that they send you a little graduation email is adorable.
Thank you everybody at Land’s End, and I hope to never see you again!“
“I came under the care of Marty Mattox after I broke a bone in my foot. I wanted to get back to training for marathons as soon as possible without the risk of reinjuring myself. The entire staff was great, from the people booking the appointment to checking me in to the support therapists that took me through exercises. Marty herself was very knowledgeable, extremely experienced, including with athletes and got me back to being me. On to the Chicago Marathon for me.“

403 49th St suite a, Oakland“Amy and Iris are the two PT's that I've seen at Back to Life Physical Therapy; they both are very knowledgable, and thorough in their explanations and guidance. In addition to their abundant knowledge in the specific area of pelvic floor, the extra care and time they put in to really listen, understand and then instruct me have been what distinguishes them in the field of physical therapists. I have improved since starting to work with them (a year ago). The office is kept clean and neat, and is full of natural wood, natural light, and includes a library of pertinent material. Colleena, the receptionist/office manager, is a wonderful and personable and efficient part of the team. I highly recommend this practice.“

22 Battery St # 888, San Francisco“I worked with Giancarlo, Carlie, and Zoe throughout my pre- and post-ACL reconstruction surgery, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be in the same physical/mental place without them. I’m incredibly grateful for their wisdom and guidance throughout this year journey.
When I first tore my ACL, I didn’t think I would ever be able to climb or run long distances again. But today I’m bouldering, running up to 8 miles, and even started a new sport—BJJ.
Giancarlo especially supported me throughout the entire process. He is an excellent PT and provided exercises that helped manage my pain and rebuild the strength in my leg. Carlie and Zoe were also amazing, guiding me through each exercise and helping me maintain proper form. Carlie is always on top of the paperwork and is great at responding to emails/phone calls as well.
I’m truly grateful for this team and everything they’ve done for my recovery.“

After Janette evaluated me, she figured out exactly what was causing the pain and her incredible skills brought me immense relief. I cannot imagine how I would have made it through my last two months of pregnancy if I had not worked with Janette. I highly and confidently recommend her!“

Four 4 months straight Joey took me through all the steps to recovery. Extremely knowledgable, convivial, empathetic and appropriately forceful, Joey is the best. I am back to biking and hiking. If you want to recover and be like you were, you should call Joey.“

2223 Santa Clara Ave A, Alameda“I was referred to Bayo Vista from a friend who had a great experience with Karen. I had Karen for my intake appointment she made me feel very comfortable with the pelvic exam. I have been working with Emily for all of my other appointments and she is WONDERFUL. She looks at your whole body and works on all parts holistically. I felt silly to point out my knee feeling stiff in one appointment as it wasn't the major problem spot. Emily looked into it and wow, did she make a difference! I felt like a new person. I had assumed that this knee would always feel that way after I had ACL reconstruction 7 years ago... but I was happily proven wrong! All appointments are 1 hour and you really get focused time with Emily or Karen. They are out of network with insurance, but I would still highly recommend them due to the quality of care you receive. Emily and Karen also have been very supportive of my bringing my baby with me. It was very comfortable to bring her and we took breaks as needed for nursing/holding. Thank you for being baby friendly, especially when a mama just needs some physical therapy love postpartum. :) Erika is also their billing and administrative ninja. She is so on top of sending out superbills for insurance the day of your appointment and booking appointments for you. I really appreciate that Bayo Vista uses text messages for booking appointments or their online system. I would highly recommended Bayo Vista!“
“I was impressed by the care and analysis taken by La Foot staff before they tried to sell me anything. After careful listening to my athletic needs, habits, and deficiencies they recommended a shoe that turned out to be ideal for my needs. The initial experience was so positive that I returned for gym specific shoes and ortho inserts for my Haflinger cork slippers. 6-months + into wearing the first shoes I remain totally satisfied. If you visit La Foot Plus be sure to go well before closing time. At the end of the day they respect their staff's non-work time by closing promptly at closing time, if not a little before.“
