“Lisa and her team were simply fantastic from the beginning to the completion of our project. Lisa posses keen insights into kitchen layout as well as taking into account the style of the house and the style and preferences of her clients. Our house is a 1920s house in Alameda with many quirks. Lisa came up with a curved countertop to address the funky architecture and it is one of the best features of the kitchen. We've never had someone so involved in managing a project, choosing materials, colours, and touches. Lisa brought in excellent contractors who were respectful, professional, and timely. The project also came in right on budget, which we've never experienced before. Lisa is an excellent guide and sounding board through the whole process. Our experience was excellent and we would do another project with her in a heartbeat!“

“I can't say enough about the quality of their product, and their service. I got my roman shades from them over 20 years ago. Aside from a little dust, it still looks new!Recently however, there was a fault with one of the pulleys, such that the mechanism wouldn't work if I wanted to pull the shades up. I called them up, they found my order from 2 decades ago, then soon sent someone out to replace the faulty part. Peggy and Ed were awesome to work with. In an era where customer service has lost all meaning, it was delightful and refreshing to work with a company that stands behind their products, and are committed to customer satisfaction. “Working with the ODS team of Alan, Philip, Dmitry, Carina and Toune made a potentially overwhelming process smooth and manageable - which led to a once in a lifetime, fantastic result. We love the home they designed. After helping with contractor selection, they provided high quality of service, thoughtful architectural and interior design advice, and a very high quality of build home.We did a whole house renovation, using both ODS’s architectural and interior design teams. Our house needed a lot of help on the inside and outside. The process started with giving the architects a “wish list” of what we were looking for, and with that they gave us two plans to look at. It was eye-opening to see the conceptual drawings. From there we selected a base plan that evolved as part of the design and build process. Working within our budget, ODS “value engineered” a design that gave us the look and feel we wanted while bringing down the building cost. As a result of collaborative work among ODS, our GC and us, in the end the final design and product was even better than the original concept design that we started with.What could have been better? Not much. Designing in built-in window treatments and working with ODS earlier in the process was probably one aspect that might have worked more smoothly if we went back and did it again. As an overall matter, we would not hesitate to recommend the ODS team. We absolutely love our house and nearly one year later, still remark almost daily on some aspect or design that reminds us of what a great house they were able to build.“

“We highly recommend Kaplan Architects. Their designs, their knowledge, their professionalism, their personalities exceeded our expectations. As the plans became reality, it was amazing to see their ability to foresee how different elements of the project came together into something over and above what we saw on paper. There were never any surprises or misunderstandings with them in any of our dealings. The communication was excellent. However, the best decision we made in the scope of things was requesting they be a part of the whole job and really do the hands-on project oversight in directing and helping the builder follow the plan. Even though the plans were very specific and precise, things on site can change or availability of materials can alter and having Dave and Ed involved kept the project true to design. Even though the contractors may offer suggestions, they don't grasp the significance of what changing even small details can do to the whole vision, and what a difference that will make. I realized very early on when given a choice by the contractor on anything, I deferred to and chose whatever Ed and Dave suggested. I knew if I could convey what I was looking for, Ed and Dave would know how to get there far, far better than I and my trust in them was absolute and well founded! From ideas, to plans, to bidding, to building I know having them involved from start to finish brought that vision together and we are so thrilled with our "new" home!. They are amazing and we feel very fortunate that we were able to find them and made the right choice involving them throughout the entire process. There is no doubt we never would have come close to the home we achieved without their talent and guidance and patience throughout the job in its entirety. They're knowledgeable and incredibly reasonable and did so much keeping everything in perspective. We are grateful for the opportunity to know them and work with them.“
“We had our gorgeous Poggenpohl kitchen cabinetry installed in 2011 as part of a massive renovation to our new single family home on Twin Peaks. The sleek, modern look and seem-less functionality still elicits "oohs" and "ahs" from our dinner guests, 8 years later. Recently we needed some repair work done to a few drawers we banged up. (We are passionate cooks!) With one phone call to I-Ching U., our original Poggenpohl designer and project manager, she had their repair expert John B. out to our house a week later. And just like that, fixes were made and our near perfect kitchen was perfect again! He actually came out TWICE, once to do the original work and again to make sure the repair work stuck and to fix a few little flaws he noted during his first visit. All at no charge to us. Talk about phenomenal customer service! When it comes to great design and johnny-on-the-spot service, Poggenpohl is without peer!“

“I used Viscera Studio to jump start our new business. We focused on photos for our social media platforms that would tell the story of who we are and what we were about. I was so pleased with the images and Viscera even uploaded them with great captions so that I could easily post them with the click of a button. We used more of Viscera Studio's photos for our website which they designed. The job came complete with a tutorial for how to manipulate the website from the back-end. Great style and great people!“
