Mailbox #1, 2850 Hannah St Suite 103, Oakland“Shae is truly a miracle worker and the most knowledgeable dog trainer!I recently adopted a dog through a rescue. I wanted to set myself up for success, and I sought Shae’s services right away. Within the first few minutes of meeting our dog, Shae immediately had a good assessment of our dog’s personality and had her complete attention. Shae gave us so many helpful tips to improve the relationship and training of our dog. It’s only been 3 months with our new dog, and every week we’ve seen such a huge improvement in her behavior, and it’s all thanks to Shae. It’s so clear that Shae loves dogs and is passionate about training them. Don’t wait one second and book a session with Shae. Your life and relationship with your dog will change for the better!“

420 El Cerrito Plaza, El Cerrito“It was great! Thank you so much for taking care of my cats.
They received their second dose of vaccinations, and everything went smoothly.
I really appreciate the kindness, patience, and attention you showed them.
Highly recommended!“
“Training with Mike has completely changed our lives with our GSD. We used to dread walks because of our GSD's frustrated greeter issues and excessive leash pulling, but the 1-on-1 training sessions turned everything around. We learned how to incorporate tools like the e-collar and prong collar correctly and humanely as part of a balanced training program.
I really appreciated the direct, no-nonsense communication style. He gives you the facts and the fixes without sugarcoating, which is exactly what we needed. We now have a dog that we can trust off-leash even in distracting environments. The best testament to the training was seeing our GSD maintain his recall and stay by our side, even when the other dogs he was hanging out with ignored their owners and ran off to cause chaos. If you want real-world results and a trainer who tells it like it is, I highly recommend Mike.“

534 C, Lewelling Blvd, San Leandro“Currently taking classes at K9 Sniffers in San Leandro. Steve B (the trainer) is great, and more importantly patient with my sometimes overly active dog.The class has helped my dog become calmer and less anxious. Dogs really enjoy this activity which requires the use of their bodies and there minds. Any breed of dog can participate. Awesome class.“

420 El Cerrito Plaza, El Cerrito“I highly recommend the dog training class by Jeffrey at Petco (El Cerrito). At first I was skeptical of the whole puppy training idea, but as I started joining the class, I realized I had been doing a lot of things wrong and only regretted that I didn't start sooner. Jeffrey is very experienced and knowledgeable - he addresses my endless questions and concerns with patience and encouragement. I will continue to work with him to train my two dogs through different levels - my dogs really enjoy going to the class :-)“

2516 Taylor Ave, Oakland“We highly recommend Critter Pet Care & Pam. Our cat, Jade, loves staying there since she gets to roam around and hang out on the various soft beds at different heights in the area. Pam treats Jade like one of her own. She sends us pictures and videos while we are away. And generally Pam goes out of her way to show her love and attention to our cat (and others, of course). Critter Pet Care is by far the best place we have ever boarded Jade. We go on vacation without worrying about her at all. It's the best possible setup for Jade. In fact I think she often doesn't want to leave! Thank you so much for your kindness and care.“

4920 Broadway, Oakland“Dr. Wright was great and everyone else we interacted with was very nice. This was our first visit with our newly adopted dog who is very fearful after coming from a hoarding situation. Dr. Wright answered all of our questions. Everyone handled him patiently and with good care. I found the pricing/estimate process to be comparable to an independent practice where I currently take my cat. They presented top tier care options and gave me time to ask questions and prioritize.“

2730 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley“Great daycare facility for dogs. My dog Ollie loves going to The Barkmont. The staff are great. They are friendly and truly love dogs. I am only comfortable leaving him with The Barkmont family when I need to have daycare for Ollie. Cannot recommend this facility enough. 10 stars - if that was an option.“

3117 Pierce St, Richmond“We love Metro Dog! Everyone knows our dog Coltrane by name and greets him like an old friend. He absolutely loves his supervised park trips—he always comes home happy, well-exercised, and energized in the best way.
The team does an amazing job making our pup feel welcome and at ease. Coltrane adores Keyon and the entire staff—they’ve truly become his second family. When we come to pick him up at the end of the day, he insists on saying goodbye with big kisses and joyful tail wags. We’re so grateful to have a place where he feels safe, social, and so loved. Metro Dog is the best!“

Perkins St, Oakland“Courtney is amazingly knowledgeable and thoughtful in her teaching. She is also SO patient (we have a pug puppy and he requires a lot of patience imo). The directions she gave were so useful for everyday life with our little guy. She asked questions I would never have thought of that helped our guy to have a happy puppy life with a good foundation for being a good boy in adulthood. Highly recommend and am so thankful we got to work with Courtney.“
