Buster loved this place. As a high energy pup, he needs to expend more energy than we can achieve by playing fetch all day. But after a day of daycare at Barkonia, he came back wiped, thank God. And it’s so awesome that they take photos of him and his playmates during the day. They’re wonderful staff and the rates are great.

Barkonia is our go-to doggy day care. Our pup gets super excited when he realizes we cross the High St bridge and pull into Barkonia. We love the reports we get after every visit, and the grooming services are great, too.

Convenient now that there's a doggie daycare in Alameda where the old jazzercise used to be. Our dog has been here a few times and seems to enjoy it. The great thing is they take several photos and have a summary of your dog's day on a report card at the end of the day too. The only thing is I wish they were open Sundays too.
