The stylists, such as Benice and Cindy, take the time to understand each client's needs and preferences, ensuring a personalized experience. Benice, a master at coloring and cutting curly hair, involves the client in the process and trims individual curls for a perfect result. Zakk, the "beard man," is known for his expertise in sculpting facial hair with energy and enthusiasm. Recently, Zakk gave a client one of the best haircuts he ever had after just seeing a single picture, and the client appreciated his friendly personality. The salon’s location is nicely set up, and stylist Mike is exceptional, providing some of the best haircuts in recent years. Another positive experience involved Kylie, who was very kind and patient, especially when working with a sister with special needs. Kylie made sure to give top-notch service, making the client feel appreciated and well cared for. The salon's coordinator, Shayna, goes above and beyond to match clients with the right stylist and make them feel heard. Clients praise the professionalism, attention to detail, and the overall pleasant experience at Chopstix Salon.
Just had my haircut by Julia and it's chef's kiss 😘 First of all they fit me in last minute which nobody does anymore. I gave her a difficult cut in a Mohawk/Fohawk style but she knocked it out of the park and great conversation too boot. I would definitely recommend and I will be back
Wanted to share my great experience here with julia! I had nearly sworn off hair salons after so many disappointing appointments never getting what I wanted or feeling *heard*... Julia listened and made great suggestions that would work with my hair rather than against it and gave the best haircut ive ever had! Also the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, the salon is adorable and I felt it was a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back! :)
booked an appointment online with Susan, after seeing a review mention she was good with curly hair.
I have lots of different curl patterns in my hair, from wavy to ringlets, and wanted something with lots of layers to show off the more curly bottom sections. Susan listened and really executed! I've never been so happy with a haircut - not only does it look phenomenal curly, but i can straighten it and wear it that way too. It's been a few months now, and it still looks great.
Definitely would recommend booking in with Susan if you have curly hair and want a stylist who knows how to bring out the best in it!
