We scheduled an appointment for maintenance. Given 8-12 window. 1130 get call to advice it will be sometime after 12. How long specifically? They couldn’t say for certain as tech was on ferry. Ferry? Yes from salt spring. I look at the ferry schedules and wonder how on earth the tech was ever going to make the commitment of 8-12.
Tech shows around 130. Super great guy Kale. Happy with the maintenance but not the commitment to the booked appointment time. If time were money? Can this company actually expect people to wait from 8am onwards. Well we did and made ourselves busy. Note: we were offered another day during the call and that seemed like a complete waste of another morning. Someone should learn how to schedule

Black Jack Sweeps & Services was great to deal with. They were friendly, on time, easy to book with, and the payment process was simple, and I was able to pay by card right after the service was completed. They came with a crew of two, worked quickly but efficiently, and were knowledgeable & friendly when I asked questions. They also provided helpful advice and recommendations. They do seem busy, so I’d recommend booking ahead rather than waiting too long.

The hairdresser had only so long to cut my hair.It was almost the end of the night.I think we had half an hour left.I asked her how I should do it because I have had the same haircuts since I was probably 18.And i'm sixty , so we did really cool cut and i'm going to color it , and we're going to go from there and she just just being in there and talking with her and hearing her ideas an opinions really helped to get my head on straight again.I was in a bad place and she brought me out of it and made me happy.I walked out of happy lady.Thank you
I love the ally cat, and all their staff. Not only do they do fantastic work but they really understand hair and haircare and are very patient in helping you find what works best for you. I have curly hair and finding people who know how to handle it is very difficult but this team has never let me down. And after years of damaged hair and bad cuts they actually got me to my hair goals and I've never felt better and my hair has never been healthier. They also have amazing colorists who can do wonders with the in demand fashion colors, but are just as good as getting a really natural looking color job. On top of that the location is fantastic to walk about town, have a coffee or a Gelato stop by some of the local shops and get your hair done all in one super convenient afternoon. 10/10 would recommend

My boys have been getting their hair cut here for the last 4+ years. Really happy with the service, pricing and most importantly - their hair! I read below that Daylon is slow. While he is slower than Wendy, I appreciate that he takes his time. He is a perfectionist and that’s a great quality for someone cutting hair! I decided to go to first choice in Duncan at the Cowichan centre because I am absolutely tired of going to expensive salons and paying $80 plus and getting a terrible haircut.
I have not used recently bit I used FFN for years I found them always friendly and professional. My nails lasted a and should one fall off they were always obliging and fit me in for a replacement usually nc, dependingon reason. I would recommend FFN in a heartbeat.
So I finally got the nerve to book a pedicure at Matisse Day Spa. What a wonderful experience. Another gentleman showed up and a person I hadn't run into in a long time. Great conversation. Bronwen my pedicure Queen made me feel totally at ease and performed magic on these aged tired feet. Looking forward to my next visit and probably try a facial package next. Griffiths could not have been better. Called on Friday morning about a leaking hot water tank. Spoke to Damon, who said he would call round after a meeting. An hour later he was here to check it out. We needed a new one. At 5:00 pm Damon had installed a new hot water tank and an expansion expansion tank, which is a new municipal requirement. Everything was perfect.

We highly recommend The Super Plumber and the super duper plumber Ken M that came and helped us out! We called on a Sunday and immediately got connected with a very friendly representative (maybe Mel?) who gathered our information and scheduled us in for an appointment for the next day, the representative was apologetic that there were no more same-day appointments, but we were very thankful that there was availability the next day, we weren’t even expecting that quick of a turn around. We were given a window of time between 8am and noon when the plumber would come, Ken contacted us to let us know he was on his way, and was there at our place by 8:30am. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very happy to answer our questions, he went above and beyond, was honest, and addressed our plumbing issue (a slow/clogged drain in one of our showers) efficiently and effectively. We were very happy with the service and feel comforted to know that The Super Plumber is there for our plumbing needs, especially those time sensitive scenarios. Thank you!

Amazing job by Scott at Fabri-Klean. Even though we have 2 large dogs after he used his special pet formula we could not believe how clean our carpets turned out. Highly recommended! Here is a picture of the before/after difference during cleaning.

John has been honest, efficient, and very effective. He sealed all rodent entry points into our crawlspace, secured a space under our patio, and monitored our exterior for a year. I had finally had enough of wasps and looked around and found a large nest under my front deck. I called Island Pest Control. The call was answered immediately. The time and date were set and the fellow came when promised (even though my finger had slipped to wrong house number when texting, he had to ask a neighbour where I lived) he removed nest and took time to show me a new worm type bug he has now found only three times. I was amazed at his kindness standing there in the heat sweating in his suit. Thank you so much! Great good old fashioned service!
I called to have them come out to remove what I thought was hornets. James arrived and told us they were honey bees. He then told us who to contact to have them removed.
