The total price in the end was reasonable too compared to what I probably would have had to spend if it got it repaired by Apple (I was past the protection plan period). “I was nervous about the quality of service due to some of the other reviews, even though I have been coming here for years and was always pleased in the past with everyone's helpfulness. This visit was a big repair situation - my machine wouldn't turn on and ALL my current files were on the hardrive sans back-up. The diagnosis was that my battery was shot and I needed a new topboard (keyboard, touchpad, and start button). The parts were gonna cost $320. I was in a panic. All of my worst fears were in play...was this true, should I get another opinion, could I shop around for better priced parts, was there a storage fee for taking over a week to figure it all out? A friend helped me hunt for parts and I found a black topboard. Mac Station agreed to put it on as part of the original fee (very cool) but the part didn't line up. All the commands were wrong. Seeing my panic and being super customer oriented Mac Tech Paul hunted for a working used topboard installed it and tested it ALL FOR ORIGINAL REPAIR PRICE. That was sooo above and beyond and in keeping with the great service I've always had that it prompted me to write this lengthy review. Hopefully putting other folks at ease if they happen across the angry crap reviews of others.“

I couldn’t remember my password took a hour to reset, when they put in a new battery it goes to a technician who does a full assessment on the phone, that takes two hours. So I was back n forth met with several staff members. Every single one was kind, attentive, went above and beyond to help me.
