The installation took around an hour and a half which seemed acceptable and the professional did a good job of walking me thru how to operate the new thermostat. However they did leave some packaging debris that I had to clean up when they went.
The problem was a lot of dust obstructing the primary vent and they cleared it out nicely in about 90 minutes. Overall they did a wonderful job although I had to remind them to clean up the area afterwards.
The issue was a clogged air filter that restricted airflow, and since replacing it during the maintenance visit last week, the system has been running smoothly. This was a more thorough inspection compared to previous annual check-ups, which I appreciated.
