She is so friendly. She made sure that I was well taken care of and did a great consultation to find out what I wanted done. It also felt like I was talking to a close friend as she worked. My hair has not felt or looked this healthy in a while. Setting up my appointment was really easy and the services were so affordable. This is a great location with fantastic staff. They do a good job of keeping appointment times so the kiddos do not have to wait too long. If there is a wait, however, there is a small play area for the kids.

Abbey does a great job all the time, but the lady that did my pedi wasn't the best and I will request someone next time I go. Also, I will just get a regular pedi and plain polish instead of gel. A $45 pedi turned into $60 and she didn't even bother with the callous on my toe.

Can we just talk about how amazing this place is?! Started with Tim doing my toes and Kim usually does my nails but she was backed up today and that’s ok. Sarah ended up filling in and oh my word. I went out on a limb and asked for a design and Sarah delivered with no hiccups! Very professional and clean facility and they accommodate your requests to the best of their ability. This is my 3rd time coming. It’s definitely worth the 3.5 hr drive

We happened upon Jake's while driving through Birmingham during lunchtime looking for good, fried catfish. The plus was Jake's was also a Caribbean restaurant. I had the curried chicken with Caribbean rice and fried sweet plantains. My husband had the catfish platter, which was a beautifully fried, crisp piece of white meat filet. The curried chicken was delicious - a nice-sized drumstick and thigh, which were braised to perfection - moist and tender with no fat, how do they do that?? The curry was tasty and went perfectly with the rice. I love sweet plantains, and I was served a generous portion, so I had leftovers. I highly recommend Jake's!! Affordable, delicious food and generous portions, can't beat that!!

All the nail artists speak English here. Say what you want, but that means a lot to me when I'm paying money for aesthetics. This was my first time here, but most of the customers were obviously regulars. The mood in the shop on a moderately busy Saturday was light hearted and joking with lots of open conversation. Yvonne recommended a Dip for my thin, brittle nails, and then worked at a good pace and did a nice job. Price was normal - around $50-$60 for a full set of nails. I'll definitely be back.

We had our main drain collapse. Mr. Drippy saved the day. I can honestly say, after living in about a dozen houses that all needed lots of work, that Mr. Drippy is the best plumbing experience I've had. They are competent and professional. I was never left wondering what was going on, because David, our plumber, communicated so thoroughly. I couldn't recommend another company more than Mr. Drippy.
Had a HVAC sensor problem. Abby came out, took care of the problem and while here she replaced our air filter downstairs. She has been to our house before. She is personable and knowledgeable. Does a great job. Have never had a problem with any of the techs from OnTime. Never nervous about who they send. We have a membership which covered the service so no cost to us which was great

They did a great job installing a garbage disposal at a very reasonable price relative to competition. Very professional and nice folks to work with, most importantly transparent about pricing. Called them on a second occasion as well. Michael is amazing, so would highly recommend him. Great experience on the scheduling side as well and aligning windows of availability, which they stuck to. While that may seem basic, not many home improvement and maintenance businesses commit to timeframes, somehow too many expect the customer to work on their schedule. Hoover Plumbing was a pleasant and sharp contrast to that, so would easily recommend them.

Miles Lilley (with Terminix here in Birmingham) gave me, my family, and some of our tenants an important reminder this week. He answered my account questions, provided schedule updates, and he visited one of our tenants and treated the home inside and out. He even did some extra work at the tenant's request to prevent the kind of issues she used to experience back when me and my family tried to handle pest control. Miles, back before we met you, back when we tried to handle pest control ourselves, termites taught us a scary lesson. They gave us expensive proof that we are pretty bad at pest control. Ever since we found you and your team, we haven't had a single issue, and we frequently get "thank you" texts and emails from tenants after your visits for the amazing work you do. Said another way, you and your team are amazing, and we hope Terminix appreciates you as much as we do!

Dr. Anglin & his staff is amazing. I started using this clinic with my 9yr old when she turned 3. She was scared of every dentist. She had cavities that other dentist want to sedate her. Well she went and seen Dr. Anglin and he was amazing with her and fixed all 4 teeth while he and his staff sang to her. She is 9 now and her sisters are 7 & 4 and they are amazing with them all. I will never go anywhere else. The clinic is an hour from my home but for a great group of people & my babies are worth it. Thank you to the whole staff.

I recently had a total knee replacement and the physical therapists at Therapy South-Hoover, specifically Lisen and Ryan, have been there for me in my rehab by giving me professional instruction, therapy, and care resulting in quicker healing, strength and confidence. My procedure was relatively new and they were up on the latest needs and practices to rehab my knee. I’m very satisfied and recommend these guys and gals. They are extremely competent, and extend their therapy in an atmosphere of care, joy and personal touch. But, if Lisen starts humming, brace yourself! Ha! She’s awesome! They’re all very good!!
