“Never go anywhere else!!! This place is clean, knowledgeable and the staff made me feel confident they would get everything out of my sons head. I unfortunately made the mistake of going to cahaba heights the day before. It was dirty and I just knew his head wasn’t fully clean of lice. They also charged me triple what Bessemer did. When we showed up to Bessemer my son still had bugs. Save yourself time, money and stress!! Head to the Lice Place in Bessemer!“

“Dr. Kelmenson and the entire staff who interacts with patients are outstanding. I have to confess that I've become somewhat jaded about going to the doctor in general over the past several years, as I've encountered too many who seem to overbook their schedules, which overwhelms the staff and creates an environment of everyone being stressed and trying to rush you through an appointment.Dr. Kelmenson's office and the doctor herself have restored my faith by doing all they can to make the whole process of coming to their office stress free--from the front desk staff and nurses taking their time to schedule you, answer questions, and send reminders, to the time spent with a doctor who listens, asks questions, and really truly seems to want to help get things figured out for you. I guess it might seem like a doctor wanting help patients figure out their issues should just be a given, but I can tell this is definitely not always the case!It's also very convenient to have a Labcorp worker on site for getting labs done all in one place. (Added bonus--every time I've had blood drawn, the Labcorp worker has been excellent!)“

“I highly recommend Remillard + the NP + the staff here. Always friendly - and even in moments where they’re understaffed and have way too many patients/calls - they never make me feel rushed. Sometimes the receptionists on the phone can be short with you - but I’ve never taken this as them being rude, they’re just doing their best to accommodate all their patients in a timely manner. I always feel like I am heard and understood here, and I’ve never had an issue with requesting referrals and having them follow through. I am always treated with respect, almost never have much of a wait - and even when I do, it’s well worth it. I recommend HFM to everyone I know. “Incredibly fast service. I registered, went to the 2nd floor, and before I could sit, I was called back. The nursing assistant who took my vitals signs was pleasant, and spent time actually talking with me about a book I was carrying. Exceptionally unusual, but appreciated as it added a human touch. The MD came in quickly, listened, and appeared interested. Also atypical, but appreciated. My complaint was treated quickly and efficiently, and I was finished in less than 30 minutes. Fantastic.“
