I had an amazing experience at Shelby Podiatry. The office was so clean and organized. The ladies at the front desk and Mike in the billing department were exceptional. Dr. Barrus carefully listened to my concern and he knew exactly how to treat and address my ailment. I am very thankful that I had the opportunity to be treated and cared for in such a positive way. Also, I want to thank Dr. Barus, who is a US Army Veteran ,for his dedication to our country. He definitely understands the military and the wear and tear that the Armed Forces have on our feet.

When I say that my fear has nearly been alleviated by Dr. Zanthos and the entire practice, I just can't say enough good things. Carlos has quite literally pep-talked me through hyperventilation and is such a kind spirit. The office staff is also amazing, always willing to work with you to the best of their ability! I have just been thankful for everyone there. Thank y'all. Oh, and blowing the air on you and the Vaseline at the end of a procedure - it's the little things too!

I got the structured gel overlay service and I love it. My nails are so pretty and she did heart designs too I love them. She made me feel very welcomed and she gave off very positive energy. Even though it was my first time meeting her I felt like we’ve known each other for years. Please I encourage you to try her nail services it’s very different than nail salons. She actually listens to her clients and keeps their health concerns as a priority. Her salon is very clean and gives a calm relaxing vibe. She also gives great suggestions if you’re like me don’t do too much designs on your nails or stick to glitter. I have scheduled my next appointment with her and I can’t wait to see what we do next time.

I’ve been getting my hair styled by Kayla the last 2 years! She’s wonderful and well experienced. I went from getting a relaxer to all natural and I love it. My hair is healthy. I highly recommend Kayla for your hair needs.

Amber cut my hair and did an Awesome job ? !! She was kind and helpful. I felt bad for her because she was all alone in the shop. She said her manager NEVER comes to work, that she is there all alone all the time. That's sad that a franchise would allow such practices in there business!!?? Amber had customers walk out because they didn't want to wait (?(. There should ALWAYS be at least 2 people on staff at ALL times in a bu such as this. The salon could have been cleaner inside too. I came here to get an ombre done on my hair. Generally, I am skeptical since I do have dark hair and a lot of it and get turned down just from that but Maria did not! My hair did not burn or get damaged like I thought it would because of my dark hair. She told me how to care for my hair and what products she recommends for my new ombre. Maria did an amazing job and I will trust nobody else but her to do my hair. I will definitely always come back! I also got the brow waxing services they offered and it was quick and took no time at all! All of the staff here were friendly and I felt welcomed! I absolutely loved this salon. It is one of the best if not the best salon I have gone to!

Got a great haircut here with D! He's a fantastic barber, and can do anything you want. He also cuts women's hair as well. All the guys that were leaving looked pretty smart in their new looks. I think they're called fades? Great guy, and great place to take your son, or brother, or dad too!
Appointment was made online using acuity scheduling website no hassle. What I loved was this shop was open beginning 5AM, not many places do that nowa days. Came in some a pic of how I wanted it cut and left exactly with that. Great guys. Will be coming back on the regular

My son and I have been going to Ace of Fades since we moved to Alabaster 3 years ago. Finding a good barber AND barbershop is hard, from day 1 we’ve always been greeted not just by our barber but all of the barbers -and it’s been genuine as well as professional.Everyone speaks when customers walk in. The atmosphere is family friendly, I feel comfortable allowing my son to book his own appointments and sending him in the shop by himself. The cuts are consistent, the service is great, and the experience will make you a long term customer. I just had my first collagen pedicure here and it was wonderful. The dad gives the best leg massages, and he is very meticulous about having everything perfect. The price was very reasonable! I will definitely return to do this again.

I’ve been going to JR Nails for almost 4 years, and I absolutely love it! Lena, Isiah, Joann, and Roger make every visit such a wonderful experience. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel comfortable and welcomed. They genuinely get to know their clients, asking about family and remembering names—it really feels like visiting friends. I always get a gel pedicure and an acrylic gel manicure, sometimes with designs and sometimes without, and my nails always turn out amazing. They stay beautiful for a long time. I love Roger for building and shaping my fingernails perfectly, Lena for her incredible designs—she can do anything or help you pick the perfect design—Joann for choosing and painting the perfect color, and Isiah for doing wonders with the pedicure! The team is talented, attentive, and genuinely care about their clients. On top of that, their prices are great. I absolutely love being at JR Nails, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Wonderful place. I think I may have paid $5 than I would somewhere else , but worth it as the gel pedicure was perfection and lasted 2 months.

Amanda does great work. I’ve lived in Alabaster for 10 years and tried just about everyone…then I found Amanda! I only wish I had found her waaay sooner. She knows how to cut men’s hair and she’s reasonable. No more showing up some place and not knowing who’ll cut your hair or if they’ll do a good job. You won’t regret using Amanda. I sent my wife to her and she came back with movie star hair. ❤️

I am following up with feedback regarding our hardscape/landscape project.
First, we love the steps up the hill. We get a lot of compliments, mostly from people who deliver stuff to our house. They appreciate the steps a lot more than walking up the hill. I'm also pleased with the flower beds, except I feel some plants were uprooted and not replanted properly after the attempt to fix the irrigation system.
On the other hand, you did not follow through on several items - lighting quote, your referral for adding stone around the front door, resolution for water running down hill, and unearthing the new juniper plants.
Just an opinion, it seems logical to me that the irrigation system work, especially around the flower beds, should have been done first vs. last.
Lastly, the machine used left deep craters in parts of our backyard. We had to have more drains installed to alleviate the standing water.
I strongly believe in feedback . So please take this for what it's worth to you.
They have trimmed our shrubs & trees, mowed & trimmed our yard (twice, now), and replaced a broken sprinkler head. In every service, they have been timely, efficient, and thorough. In every interaction, they have been the epitome of courtesy. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I did something dumb and decided to put together a trampoline over the age of 40. My neck and shouldn't didn't like that. Booked with Jennifer Johnson because I saw she was a specialist in stretching and knew it would help along with massage therapy. I had a BAD knot in my shoulders and completely tight. After 2 sessions I already feel like new. She is AMAZING to her clients and I'm sold on using her again! Never had someone more personable working with me to understand my needs!
I have suffered with pain for years. Muscular pain and nerve pain as well. Fibromyalgia, fused back, arthritis . I have dealt joint issues for as long as I can remember . Tight, tense sore muscles . I wanted a neuromuscular massage. Have had other massages but not like this one. I could feel the muscles release. It was not painful. Bob Blake spent two hours with me. He explained everything he was going to do. He wanted to know my concerns and other interventions I had tried. He took time to listen. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back…
