I unfortunately made the mistake of going to cahaba heights the day before. It was dirty and I just knew his head wasn’t fully clean of lice. They also charged me triple what Bessemer did. “After seeing the same person from another medical group for almost 3 years, I was never satisfied so I decided to change providers. On my first visit, I was welcomed by a friendly staff. My wait was less than 5 minutes before I was called, vitals taken and I was placed in a room. After another short wait, in walks Dr. Christopher. He showed genuine concern for me as a person, not just a patient. He continued to assure me that he worked for me and he would always consult me about my care. I was then taken to the lab for blood tests. The phelobotomist had inspirational words. She had finished taking my blood and I wasn't even aware that she had started. For the best medical care, this is the place.“

“I checked in online before my appointment to hold my place in the queue. I was greeted upon entry, and confirmed arrival at the kiosk. Only had a short wait before being called back for vitals, and to address my issue. Tests results were received quickly, and the doctor followed up and had me on my way. Facility was well maintained at both of my visits, and I wouldn't hesitate to schedule here again.“
“Dr. Law is probably the best I have worked with. But she is not practicing and for some reason they have not updated that she has taken a leave for the past 2 years. I saw where she is still listed and thought maybe she had come back but I found out that she is no longer there.“

I've had issues and missed appointments and although it's against their policy, they try to accommodate me and make sure I get the help and care I need. Hicks is an amazingly caring and strict doctor. I appreciate him for that and for keeping me well taken care of.“
