I love RC Detailing. I am an older female and they always treat me with respect, and explain to me what they can and cannot do to keep my car looking like new. My car is a 2016 Jeep Renegade and the careful detailing and hand wash they provide gives me pride in my older car - they do beautiful work. My point is you do not have to drive a Lamborghini for them to make your car shine and look it's best. Plus taking care of your car inside and out only increased its life and value. I specified a thicker D-1 course for the base and thicker pavement for the driving surface on our driveway. June 10, 2025, I got the driveway widened 4 feet more to allow for Travel Trailer parking.

I had the pleasure of being treated 11 times by Alex Guzman at Sitting Swan for 10 weeks. He used fascial counterstrain and various methods of acupuncture to help with complex spinal pain in my back and neck. He also addressed my stress, body tightness, and heel pain. Alex is very skilled and knowledgeable at what he does. He is professional, kind and is genuinely interested in my problems & finding a way to fix them. I always left relaxed and feeling much better than when I came in. I was usually his last patient of the day and I always felt like I was his first - he always gave it his all and made sure he spent the necessary time treating my complex needs. I never felt rushed in or out. I’ve spoken with Virgil, the owner, several times and he is very nice and professional. Although this treatment is expensive, it’s in line with the going rate in the area & I’d say it’s worth it, if you’re looking for acupuncture or any related treatment. I highly recommend Alex Guzman at Sitting Swan and I’m sure Virgil is great too. Give them a try!!

My hair is super fine, but naturally curly. I had done so much experimenting with different shampoos, conditioners, and products. Some days it turned out. Some days it didn’t.

If you’re looking for a quick, but good haircut, Stay Golden Barber Studio is the place to go. Kayleen did a great job at cutting my hair, especially compared to other barbers I’ve been to in Alaska. She cut my hair EXACTLY how I asked, which no one else has done before. She even recommended products to make the curls in my hair look better and not so frizzy. I definitely will be returning here.

I have been on an 8 year “brow journey” and I am finally super happy! Started in 2017 with a different provider which left me with huge discolored (greenish tint) brows that didn’t fit my face shape. I finally went and had 2 laser removal sessions done and then had Reese at Aerie Aesthetics refine and renew my *original* brows. Her attention to detail, making sure I loved the pre-draw, and gentle touch meant everything to me. I absolutely LOVE them and will tell everyone that she is a total BROW QUEEN!! 10/10 recommend!!

I was nervous and kind of scared, I didn't want it to be awkward which was my biggest fear of all. However, she and I had a wonderful conversation throughout the time I was there which I feel made the experience that much more enjoyable. For hair removal, facials and the over all spa experience, I definitely know where ill be going for future service as well as who I'd be recommending other to use.

We just had our on demand hot water heater flushed out for the first time. Zach was so helpful in teaching us about the system and what to look out for. From the front office to the service call I had a great experience with Mat su mechanical. Dante serviced and walked me through my hot water and heating systems and took the time to explain the maintenance schedule and what to pay attention to. Dante was on time, came prepared with all the right items even though they can be hard to get and really went the extra mile. He also figured out how to reset the controller so the humidifier actually works. He's only been gone an hour and the house is more comfortable. Thank you Dante! I wanted to add that my mom had struggled to find a good contractor so big thanks to Mat Su who seems to spot issues and improve our relatively new system so it will be safe and long lasting. It is such a relief knowing this company has our back and is incredibly kind, respectful and responsive to individual customer needs. Thank you so much!

I had a bunch of questions about laying my own infloor heating. The good old boy behind the counter was very accommodating. Although they had a steady flow of customers coming in he really took his time on my project. They rented me some tools for my DIY project and when I'm ready I'll be going back to get the boiler and fittings there. Highly recommended.

We’ve been dealing with a crappy water heater since we moved in and I’ve been fighting with the home warranty HSA company.
The first service call Meadow Lakes Supply Co. Plumbing and Heating LLC. came out and put in for a replacement. Which HSA first approved and then changed their mind for a second opinion. The second company comes and the guy who comes out reiterates the same thing Meadow Lakes did but then my claim was denied. When I called back the plumber acted like he couldn’t remember me from a week prior. I could only get them to communicate via text and they stated it was a water quality problem…
Second service call a couple months later and I refused to let the 2nd company come to my house. HSA of course wants a 2nd opinion and the battle started. If I had to do a 2nd opinion that’s fine but with a different company than the first 2nd opinion and HSA didnt want that. A month later, multiple calls, never a manager call back and my claim was changed to a steam boiler per the 2nd opinion company who never came out the 2nd time. More battling and Meadow Lakes stepped in and helped also.
All this to say, my water heater was FINALLY replaced today and Meadow Lakes Supply co was phenomenal. I originally had Mike out and then it was Brian and both were amazing to work with and the office staff was phenomenal each time we spoke with them - which was often . We highly recommend.

Dryer knob set up was broken. Ordered a new set up right away over the phone and was there with in days. It was an easy fix even though I'm not familiar with them. Instead of just gouging me for the repairman to do it they encouraged me to try doing it 1st to save the money(since it was very simple lol). And it was easy in this instance. I contacted flawless cleaning services to quote me for stairs & landing, 2 double bedrooms and 2 sofa @ foot stools to be cleaned, the quote was very competitive but what sold me to go with them was the prompt reply ( others took days to reply or didn’t at all) to my message and the short wait time to do the job, they arrived bang on time and straight to work, the gentleman was very polite and professional, Due to us moving home and being very busy we had to leave them in the house while we were out, everything was in place when we returned home so I can vouch for there honesty, the sofas were heavily stained with baby milk spilt drinks etc with having 5 young children, they have come back looking new, the carpets were stained with make up etc and again outstanding result and spotless, I can’t recommend these guys enough, I was worried sick about loosing some of my bond for the stained carpets but now I’m confident I won’t Thank you guys

I'm a local realtor of 10 years and had Byler build a new construction 4plex for me in Anchorage. This was a challenging project and although we went over our timelines it was from delays directly involving the muni and Chugach Electric. Byler was great to deal with when changes came up and we needed to work together on a solution. He was very reasonable and even generous with upgrades and things he could have change ordered me on and didn't . I only knew about some of the changes because I noticed. He just made the change at his expense and never even pointed it out. At the end of the day I ended up with a property nicer than most other builders and at a better value. The project wasn't perfect but none are and neither am I. And, there is no other builder I would rather work with to build a multifamily.
I called them to help me get a tree taken down and they were here within an hour or so and took care of it immediately at a fair and reasonable price! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who needs their type of services! Super friendly, super helpful and quick!

The reviews don’t do this veterinary hospital justice. I had a sick dog and was able to make an appointment online immediately. Someone text me to gather further information and they welcomed me when I arrived. The staff were awesome, friendly and even took me in early. They also provided a goody bag when I checked out, welcoming my fur family. I’ve never had this much kind service with my pets. The vet was the best and very knowledgeable. I wish you could bottle up all of your professionalism and send it to some of the lower 48 vets. Thank you for taking care of my dog and making our stay here more comfortable.
Recently I went to Frenz Pet Spa to have my Border Collie's nails trimmed. They were extremely accommodating with him as he has been know to nip when this is occurring. They let me hold him, which was a big help to them and him. Other places have insisted that they take full control and he is not very cooperative with others. They were quick and we went out to leave. Cold and windy and my truck would not start. Battery was dead. The lady noticed what was going on and came out to help. She asked around for jumper cables, and even offered to have me and the dog come back in to warm up. What a nice jester. This shows the caring type of people that are operating this business. We took our rescue cat there for a bath and nail trim, unsure of how he would cooperate. It turned out great, very happy with the service we received.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The before and after difference in our dog was unbelievable, he looked like a completely different pup, in the best way possible.
You can tell they truly care about the animals they work with. Our dog was treated with so much kindness and patience, and he came home not just looking great but clearly feeling happy and relaxed.
The team is professional, gentle, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find that combination of skill and heart these days. We felt totally comfortable leaving our dog in their care, and we’ll definitely be back.

Had an amazing experience with Lilyan this afternoon. She listened to what I wanted. Her pressure was spot on, which I know isn’t easily achieved when working with a new client. I’d also like to point out how fluid she was with transitions, creating a flow I can only liken to being in water. I get massages weekly to manage muscle tension- this was next level therapy. Lilyan is a gifted healer and I am blessed.
Literally the best massage I’ve ever had, Miranda is phenomenal!! She is an expert at her craft and it shows. The whole experience was 10/10.

Stopped by and saw Regina last week and she is really impressive. Had a Saturday appointment and figured she wouldn't be super excited to work the weekend but was wrong. She is very patient and attentive and spent quite a while listening to my life story to make sure she gives the best attention to focus on your care. Everyone at Alaska Massage Studio was so nice and friendly. They made sure my partner and I were well taken care of and relaxed. We decided to take part in their Valentine's Day Special with the couples hot stone massage. I was definitely nervous to try my first hot stone massage but the lady at the front desk gave me a quick run down of what was going to happen and I'm so happy I tried it. I left feeling AMAZING, completely relaxed and rejuvenated. 10/10 We will definitely be coming back.
Very good massage. Mindy was strong, she found all the knots in my back, one was a particularly big knot that has had my full arm hurting for like a week.She took about five minutes , just kneading it out. Takes a lot to get a knot that size out of your back. It was very relaxing nice and it was so relaxing.Especially at the end. Its a pretty comfortable room. Don't judge it by the waiting room.
Great location in Wasilla that is close to other outpatient offices. Staff are great and design a plan that accounts for your concerns. Facility and equipment are new and taken good care of. Plenty of parking and seating inside.
Sawyer is a knowledgeable, engaging therapist. I feel like he pays attention to how I’m doing the exercises and makes sure it’s correct. He seems to genuinely care about my progress. Would definitely recommend him.
