“I first came to Avenue Dental in a very serious health crisis. I had a tooth infection, and another illness had also inflamed my nerves so badly I was in terrible daily pain. I had briefly met Dr. Bittar at another clinic before he came to Avenue Dental, and I was very impressed with his work. I was in total desperation, as my other dentist had missed the tooth infection and also did not seem to understand my pain. It was an answer to prayer that I found out Dr. Bittar was in network for my insurance. The long drive was well worth it. From day one his approach was to treat me, the patient, not just my teeth. It took months of work, but finally my pain is starting to get better.

Dr Bittar and his assistant, Dakota, went above and beyond to help me. Unfortunately I had to call Dakota early one Saturday morning with emergency level pain; she quickly returned my call and got me in as soon as possible. Dr. Bittar also called me a number of times between patients to see how my pain level was and to encourage me that he was committed to getting me healthy no matter how long it took. I also want to thank the receptionists, who had to schedule and re-schedule many appointments to get my crisis under control.

There are many dentists who are experts in their field. But to have that expertise AND have the genuine compassion and care that I found at Avenue Dental, that is something that just can’t be taught. I will always be grateful to Dr Bittar and Dakota for helping me through the toughest time I’ve ever gone through in my life.“

“Hygienist very known ease of check in =4 star. I work on computers every day and I don’t really appreciate tablet check-in. Just give me a piece of paper. I’ll check the boxes and you do your work. I have a full-time job a my full-time job is not doing your work on the tablet putting in my insurance cards ahead of time and everything else that is your job, you can take my card when I get there. You can get my information when I get there and when you ask me for my information ahead of time, I expect it to be there because my time is just as important as your time but that is your job not my job. I come to my appointments and fill out the appropriate paperwork as needed when needed. Let’s be real. We all hate the Dentist as much as we hate the gynecologist and I don’t like new dentist, but I do appreciate having a very knowledgeable hygienist. She was great.“

“Dr. Smith is a brilliant dentist, supported by a wonderful staff. I do not have the best teeth, I ate quite a bit of sugar in my younger days, but I feel like I have the best chance of keeping my teeth healthy now in my older age under Dr. Smith’s care. There are a few teeth I have that are on their last legs, but Dr. Smith says they still are ok, and he never does any unnecessary procedures. I feel I can truly trust his advice and that he is looking out for his patients’ well-being. Cristy, my dental hygienist, is the only hygienist I have ever been to who can do the entire cleaning procedure with no pain to me whatsoever. She is wonderful. Emily at the front desk and Angie in finance always make sure to get me all of the insurance money I can and provide service in the friendliest manner. Shana, Dr. Smith’s assistant, is a true pro and all business. I have only good things to say about North Shore Dental and recommend them to my friends.“

“I really love the dental team here. Every time I come in, I’m greeted warmly and the hygienist and dentist are always so kind and professional. They do great work and make me feel very comfortable during my visits.

The only thing I’d like to point out is that the phone experience could be a lot friendlier. I always feel uneasy calling each time when I talk to the receptionist. I truly enjoy the care I get here and hope that improves, because I’d love to keep coming back for years to come.“

“Highly recommend Dr. Dan and his team. I went here for orthodontics when I was a teenager.

I was referred by Dr. Dan to a specialist dentist to handle my TMJ for a short period of time but they retired one day out of the blue and I was without a dentist for 2+ years.

The other day, I broke a piece of my tooth (right in the middle of a molar). I got an appointment the next day. He took a look at my tooth and filled it right away. Since it didn’t hurt and wasn’t deep enough, I didn’t even need to be numbed. The filling was done in less than 10 minutes.

It had been about 3 years since I’ve had a cleaning and they had the time to do one right away after my filling. I’ve been embarrassed about not having a cleaning in so long but they were reassuring and didn’t knock me down for it. They just reviewed proper dental hygiene and I was on my way. ?
