There are students from 5 to 75 ( trust me the 75 year old will take you out ) . This is a complete system and always evolving, Mr. Scott treats all as equals and listens to feed back. You wont learn everything in a month or a year but you will advance and one day things just start to click , muscle memory develops and then your hooked. “AMA is fantastic! My daughter has been doing karate there for more than 4 years. She started in person before the pandemic, took online classes when AMA pivoted to online, has been back in person for months and is preparing to take her junior black belt test this month. The instructors are great and Mr Herrman is very responsive. I love that they teach karate and how to be an all-round good human. AMA gave my daughter a reliable activity and reliable role models during the pandemic, when not much else was reliable. I can’t say enough good things about AMA.“

Mr. Ness and his staff are incredibly dedicated to the students and work hard to create engaging and fun classes, as well as great camps and events (my son wishes the camps ran all summer long!). “My whole family goes here to learn Karate. My two daughters live this place and the teacher is very gentle and empathetic and gives many moral lessons to deal with day today life to children. She manages many kids in each class very well. Their after school program with school pickups is very successful for kids to learn karate and crafts. The Sensei creates a very safe and comfortable place for kids and adults of all ages. I've seen 70 year old women coming to learn karate in recent times. We live the class and plan to continue for many years to come.“
