“If you’re trying to find a hair and makeup artist and Anne is one of your options just do yourself a favor and book her! She’s wonderful, makes you feel comfortable and makes you look amazing. I booked her for my intimate, small wedding and she made me look and feel like a princess. Heck my hair held its curl for over 24 hours! I loved the way I looked so much that I was so upset when I had to take off my makeup and bring down my hair! She works with you to make sure that you love the way you look. She also brought wonderful assistants who made the rest of the girls look and feel beautiful.“

“UPDATED with before and after photos (before had black roots and blotchy black in it). When the color remover took out the black, of course it wasn’t taken out all the way or my hair would fall out so it went a light orange color. Aurora did a great job removing it and getting it to match my hair. She didn’t do permanent as she said she wanted to make sure the color was ok and if I wanted to change it later that I could without compromising my hair. She also stated that it could fade a bit and to come back in if it starts looking weird — I highly appreciate and am very impressed! I’ll definitely be going back :) and finally, I have peace of mind.

Below is my review after the consultation I had but before the actually appointment to fix my hair:

Aurora approached my situation with genuine empathy and care — something I deeply needed after working with two previous stylists who left my hair damaged and my confidence shaken. On top of that, I was going through an incredibly emotional time, as my father-in-law was in hospice and has since passed.

Even though we haven’t done the actual appointment yet, Aurora has already given me something I hadn’t felt in a long time — confidence. She took the time to truly listen, performed strand tests (which no one else had even suggested), and treated me like a human being, not just another client in the chair. That care and honesty mean everything to me after what I’ve been through.

She truly listened—understood my past frustrations with getting the right haircut and style, and more importantly, grasped the challenges I’ve faced styling my hair on my own.

Macee gave me the perfect highlights I’ve been chasing for years—blending my gray in a way that made me look and feel years younger. And the curly cut? Absolutely flawless. For the first time in a long time, I walked out of a salon feeling confident, beautiful, and completely seen.

She knew exactly the type of product to use for my hair type and walked me through the whole process, sprinkling in some helpful tips for hair health and maintenance.

“I've been going to Alfonso for at least 5 years and finally getting around to writing a review. He does such an incredible job every time, his space is clean and stylish, parking is easy (especially at the bottom of the hill), and his friendly dog Knox is always there to greet you. He never pushes products on you and always respects what you want. Alfonso gives great recommendations based on how much (or in my case how little) time you want to spend on maintenance. And bonus is he is *great* with kiddos! Highly recommend!“

Kylie Rose messaged me back with up-front information about colors, costs, tips for making it last, and willingness to give a consultation on the same day as doing that service, since we live so far away. I was appreciative of her prompt response, realistic cost estimate, and willingness to accommodate our other needs, as well. These are all valuable traits when you're choosing a stylist.“

“Loved my cut from Mitch! I went in pretty anxious because I always come out of salons feeling like the stylist didn’t “get me” despite detailed consultations. Not here! Mitch was extremely patient and helpful with the consultation and he knew exactly what I was looking for. He took the time to cut my hair to perfection. He’s also just a super warm and friendly guy, and I felt at ease during and after my session. I’m new to the city and I’m so glad I already have a permanent salon locked in!“
