“Small funeral home location and no mortuary. This location, which is across from Hong Kong Supermarket and Ace Hardware store, has a very nice funeral receptionist named Dee Jay. I was so impressed with getting casket/coffin price list from home after she kindly printed it out. I wish this location had a mortuary because I live not far from there. I found out that of mortuary services are needed, it would have to be done at Bonnie Watson's SeaTac location, which is larger that the Federal Way location.“

“Last month, I had the occasion to work with Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services and the entire difficult and complicated experience was made better because of the Hills staff’s compassion, competency and caring.

My aunt unexpectedly passed away while in transit from her home in Vietnam to her second home in New Jersey. During the layover at the Seattle -Tacoma airport, she had a stroke, collapsed, was hospitalized and died within days. When we were informed that our aunt would not survive, I immediately looked online for a funeral home and cremation service in the Seattle area while being in Washington DC. We knew that she would want to be buried next to her beloved husband in Vietnam. Not many funeral homes have the expertise in shipping the ash remains internationally because of strict regulations from different countries. After the initial talk to Heather at Hill, I called and talked to a few more funeral homes but concluded that Hill knew best what we needed.
Both directors Heather and Renae were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I requested that Hill give us the exact time of cremation so that families and relatives im both countries could coordinate a rosary and prayer for our aunt and Hill assisted us.

Hill worked closely with me throughout the whole ordeal of cremation, getting info from various offices, completing all required paperwork and shipping the remains to Vietnam. They kept us informed and always returned our calls. We learned a lot from the experience and are truly grateful for the service and support received from Hill Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

My family and I were lucky enough to work with Melissa who was patient and great to work with from start to finish. She helped answer all our questions leading up to the date. Our friends and family said the entire service was beautiful. We were also able to live stream the event which was really special for our out-of-state family. “We lost my Mother in Law one week ago and I knew I wanted her to come to Scott Funeral Home. I previously met Miss Coretta when she was servicing another funeral for a church member and I really liked her personality and demeanor.

When the time came for us to now have to utilize their services, she did not disappoint. This process was very hard and frustrating overall but not on the part of the funeral home. Miss Coretta and her Staff made us feel so comfortable and went above and beyond to help us get things settled.

“We had a family member die in Washington state. He has no family there. He died unexpectedly and very young (38). Thankfully the hospital social worker provided me with several low cost cremation services. He died at such a young age. There was not a life insurance policy. We explained that we needed a low cost cremation and we were not turned away. Because of financial instability we were unable to fly to Seattle we had to do everything over the phone and through email. Holly was amazing. She went out of her way to make sure Cory was handled with care and dignity. She sent his ashes to several family members who live far apart per our request. She also sent a lock of his hair and his finger prints. The cost was so much less than other places but he was treated like royalty. We were treated the same way. Holly showed us love, kindness, and compassion. I don't have enough words to express how amazing Holly is. Please consider this service if you should ever need it. You won't be disappointed. In our time of shock and sorrow, Holly treated us as if we were her own family. I will be eternally grateful for Holly and Cady.“

“The people at Premier Memorial are a very dedicated lot. In 2 years I had 3 deaths for which I needed their services. The staff were kind and courteous but also extremely helpful in making the headstones attractive and liked by all family members concerned. I will be using them again, hopefully in the distant future.“

“I took some time to visit the Sumner Cemetery today. Having just moved to WA, the area historic cemeteries are a real tribute to the history and heritage of the towns in which they are located. This one is unique for the beautiful somber Heritage Farms plot that pays tribute to the rich farming tradition of Sumner. I give this place a 5 star rating for the history. However, the overriding negative was an older woman and her son who took photos of my license plate and ambushed me thinking I was with Find a Grave and that I was taking photos of her family's plot, which I was not. I was simply enjoying the history on a beautiful Sunday. I post only those statues and things that are expressly noted for public view. For the cemetery staff, if you desire, I can give you the family plot and name the two are associated with.“
