“My partner has been going to GLAM since we moved to Seattle and I have nothing but great things to say about the half dozen or so times we've been there. Diana is his stylist and she is, in a word, excellent. His cuts have been absolute perfection because she's such a fantastic communicator.At my partner's last appointment, the owner (Andy) struck up a conversation with me as I was waiting. He kindly offered me a drink and asked if I had a salon. I'm recovering from significant hair loss and my pixie wasn't looking too hot -- I had a ton of curly, unruly new growth and some areas of remaining thinness. I asked if they happened to have a stylist who would be comfortable taking on the task. He said he knew the perfect stylist for the job and asked when I was available, then went to explain my situation to the stylist and see if he could work me in the day before a major holiday. My appointment was booked on the spot. Enter Eric.Well, I just had my appointment this morning and I am SO happy with my cut. I was expecting to be told I should buzz it, but Eric was able to keep a considerable amount of length and make my hair look absolutely adorable, which I feel was probably a challenge given the state of it. He was *meticulous*.Eric provided effortlessly entertaining conversation, so much so that I had NO idea I was in the chair for almost two hours -- it was clear he did not want me to leave without my cut looking immaculate, which says a lot about him. A huge thank you to Eric for the patience today, and to Andy for initiating the conversation with me and making me a client. I had been wanting to get my brows done for the longest time, but had been scared away from doing it out of fear that they would look unnatural. I finally caved when I saw Eva's work online, and I came in a couple of months ago for my first appointment. Eva was incredibly sweet and kind, explaining the whole process to me (including the aftercare process). She was meticulous in creating the perfect brow shape for me based on what I wanted and my facial features. “Great experience! Finding parking was relatively easy. The person working the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My lash technician, Hailey, did a wonderful job and was super gentle too. There wasn’t super loud music or any weird smells which was great.The only reason why I didn’t put 5 stars was because of the bed. They’re not the most comfortable, and when I asked for a pillow, they only had these hard, half cylinder type pillows, which did not feel great. I would seriously consider investing in some better beds because two hours is a long time to be laying in an uncomfortable bed.“
