“There’s a reason I drive an hour each way to see Jen, she never steers me wrong and always takes amazing care of me. I finally caved and gave Brow Lamination with Tint a try, now I’m hooked! Why did I wait so long? I’ve been seeing Jen for years now, she has always taken amazing care of my unruly brows and other waxing needs. For the past year she’s been nudging me to let her do Lamination. Thankful I finally let her do them. Wow night and day difference. It’s really fun to watch the transformation as she works. I don’t wear make up so it’s nice to have the tint and definition of the brows really stand out on a daily basis.“

“I’m so thrilled to have found Dollhouse Beauty Parlor! I was looking for a place that offered more options. There seem to be quite a few places that offer ombre, or at least showcase this style and not much else. I literally researched for years to determine which style I wanted (microblading, ommbre, nanoblading, etc.) and when I decided on nanoblading, took a bit more time to figure out where to go. Vivian did such an amazing job. I get excited each time I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve popped open the front facing camera to take a look-see too? Vivian is so detail oriented and really brought the brow of my dreams to life! The fact that I get to wake up with fuller, even, and natural-looking brows feels so good. Not only did my brows come out just the way I want, I felt so welcomed the second I came in. Such a warm, comfortable environment. Thank you so, so much. “When I arrived at the salon, Lindsay is so cheerful and down to earth. She offered me a beverage and put me at ease from the get go, asked me to have a seat in the chair and asked about any questions/concerns. She looked over my brows and asked what I am looking for overall. Then, she brushed up my brows asking if the shape looked ok, with a hand held. I decided to go with some microblading with a little powder fill, I was a little concerned about pricing possibly being higher but she said I want my customers to be happy and just charged me one price for the mixed service. Once we were on the same page she applied a numbing cream on my brows while she prepped for the treatment.The entire time chatting with me like an old friend. My entire process was finished in about 90 min, it wasn’t super red when I left but they did start to get a bit itchy but I just tried to itch around it. My redness cleared within a few hours, but your brows may look pretty raw immediately after, so keep that in mind.I cleansed my face carefully and added the aquaphor Lindsay provided a few times a day and within a few days my brows started to flake but nothing major and not super noticeable. Within a week, they had flaked and looked great. It’s only been about 2.5 weeks since my procedure was completed but I am completely happy and feel it looks so natural. My friends couldn’t even tell unless I pointed it out and they looked super closely. I highly recommend Lindsay, she will take care of you and treat you like a friend.“

“Best Brazilian Ever!!! So I've gone to every waxing /sugaring place in Ballard and Bush & Ivy is hands down the very best. Went here based on the recommendation of a good friend and boy did she do me a solid. I had a bad experience with another salon in Ballard so it had been a while and I was a little gun shy. From the moment I walked in Christina went out of her way to make sure I felt comfortable. Like many people I'm insecure about all sorts of things about my body and Bush & Ivy is truly a judgement free zone. Her space is beautifully decorated and tranquil and I'm not sure what wax she uses but it was the gentlest Brazilian I've ever had. My wax was quick and impeccably done. I booked 2 more sessions on the spot. Very highly recommended by a insecure chubby snob of a girl.“

“Believe all the 5-star reviews!!! I’ve been getting my hair cut by Loufel for years now. I dabbled with other stylists when I couldn’t get an appointment right away, or when I lived in NYC for a while, but there is no one else at her level of skill. She’s so easy to talk to, works efficiently, and just GETS IT. She is also an incredibly talented colorist. I got a partial balayage with toner and it’s exactly what I wanted. My appointment was a week before my wedding so it was pretty high stakes, but I had zero doubt she would deliver and she did (as always). Very cute salon space near downtown. Parking isn’t amazing, but just look around the block.“
