“Just graduated from Direct Performance and I can’t recommend Dr. Zach Douglass enough. When I started PT with Zach in February, I was still in a boot and on crutches after foot surgery, unable to walk normally and in so much pain that I genuinely wondered if I would ever be able to run again.
Fast forward to now, and I’m running, hiking, jumping, and back to doing the things I love — completely pain-free. The difference is incredible, and Zach played such a huge role in getting me here.
Throughout the entire process, Zach was kind, patient, level-headed, incredibly knowledgeable, and, most importantly, a great listener. He never dismissed what I was feeling or rushed the process. He knew when to push me, when to pull back, and how to adjust my treatment based on what my body was actually doing rather than just following a generic protocol. He made me feel confident in my recovery even during the times when I wasn’t confident myself.
Looking back at where I started compared to where I am today is honestly hard to believe. I’m incredibly grateful for Zach and the care he provided throughout my recovery. If you’re looking for a physical therapist who is knowledgeable, thoughtful, genuinely invested in his patients, and really listens, I cannot recommend him highly enough. “Have been doing weekly appointments for the last 16ish weeks. Everyone I've interacted with has always been so kind. My physical therapist has been really good at putting my anxiety to ease while working with me to decrease my daily pain.
